NIIS Institute of Information Science and Management, Bhubaneswar, boasts a myriad of academic programmes in the fields of Sciences, Commerce, Arts, Humanities, Social Science, and IT. The institute has a very holistic admission process to award the deserving candidates. The admission is done primarily through the NIIS Aptitude Test (NAT) that is conducted for the courses of study offered at the institute. The selection process is based on fair and equal grounds of merit and both academic capability and the suitability for his/her chosen field. In fact, there are special category seats available, which will be filled on a different merit list among all applicants in that category.
Degree Wise Admission Process:
BCA and BBA- Both programs intake 60 seats each. The selection process is through NIIS Aptitude Test (NAT), merit of previous academic records, and personal interview. For BCA, 10+2 with Mathematics is the eligibility criterion, whereas BBA requires 10+2 with English from any stream.
Information Technology and Management: This program has a total of 128 seats. Admission is based on the AIMA-UGAT/NAT/Merit of previous academic records, followed by a personal interview. Eligibility include 10+2 examination with Science stream.
B.Sc Biotechnology: This program has 128 seats and has eligibility criteria of 10+2 examination with Science stream.
MSW (Master of Social Work): The course has a strength of 60 seats. It follows selection through NAT, merit of previous academic records, and personal interview. It's suitable for a BA degree with minimum 50% marks.
M.Sc Computer Science: It comprises a potential 30 seats. It accepts candidates who qualify with a B.Sc Computer Science having given it a 50% minimum requirement.
Master in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations: This Program has 60 available seats, thus requiring a BA degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
I have studied bachelor of science, I didn't get any other option so I joined, curriculum is updated and doesn't include as per requirement. No it doesn't make me job ready as you need to upgrade your skills.
* I'm pursuing MBA because i need a job. Quality of teaching is average but some teachers good and cooperative . Yes our collge curriculum is updated and needs to be developed in some cases. Yes its makes me job-ready
I am studying MBA . And I thik my college provides me all type facilities. Quality of teaching is also good. Techears are also understanding. They help us when we are unable to solve our problems. Yes my curriculum is updated and includes recent developments in the feild. It uses recent technologies for our better understanding. As now am studying MBA my college helps me out for being ready for the job. It helps me to face interviews and make me job ready.

NIIS Institute of Information science and management are approved by UGC and the BC Bio- technology course in this Institute or college is offered by Utkal University Bhubaneswar Odisha. The total fees for 3 years BSc biotechnology course of full time is 1.55 lacs of rupees in total. Fees includes tuition fees only. Charges of hostel are not included in this fees. Hostel charges around 90 lacs per annum.

It is easy to get admission in bca. You can get admission through entrance exams that are conducte by the various colleges and universities and you can also get admission through merit based. The minimum qualification for bca is :
You should passed +2 at least 60% (some colleges also offer admission at 50%).
Math is compulsory in +2.(some colleges also provide admissions to commerce background students)
