NIMAS Kolkata admissions offer regular and full-time courses that are affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology Kolkata (formerly WBUT) and approved by UGC, MHRD, Government of India. NIMAS Kolkata admissions are offered to UG and PG level programmes. UG courses at NIMAS Kolkata include B.Optometry, B.Sc, BBA and BCA, while PG courses include a 2-year M.Sc programme.

NIMAS Kolkata admission to BBA, B.Sc and BCA courses is also based on the MAKAUT WB CET examination. Candidates who are yet to appear for the 10+2 examination can also apply for NIMAS Kolkata admissions where the eligibility criteria will be the scores obtained in the CET examination.

At postgraduate level NIMAS Kolkata admissions are offered to M.Sc in various specialisations. NIMAS Kolkata M.Sc admissions offer specialisation in Clinical Psychology, Dietetics and Nutrition and Hospitality Management. M.Sc at NIMAS Kolkata is offered for a duration of 2-years.

• The candidates should complete their B.Sc degree under any registered university with subjects like Physics, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology and Microbiology.

• B.Sc (Family and Community Sciences) with specialisation in Nutrition.

• B.Sc (Vocational) with specialisation in Food Science and Quality control or Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics or Food Science and Technology or B.Tech Food Science and Technology.

• B.Sc (Family and Community Sciences) Programme with specialisation in Foods and Nutrition/Public health Nutrition/Dietetics/Food Science and Quality Control.

• Admissions are strictly on merit basis.

• 2 copies of Class 10 documents.
