Nitishwar Ayurved Medical College and Hospital, Muzaffarpur (NAMCH) is a very famous institution offering education in Ayurvedic medicine.The college has a rich history of imparting quality education in the field of Ayurveda. The admission process at NAMCH is designed to select the most qualified and dedicated students for their Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) program. The main entry mode to NAMCH is an entrance examination done at the National level, held by the National Testing Agency through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. In this way, every student will have to be qualified in order to get admissions in NAMCH and become a part of BAMS within the college by scoring in an entrance examination which will decide admission on the merit basis.
For eligibility, the candidate should have completed his or her 10+2 education with core subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The admission cycle falls in tune with the time of NEET examination. Soon after the NEET results, a merit list, based on scores of NEET, is announced by the Counseling Committee of Government of Bihar, and thus shortlisted students get a counseling notice. Allotted seats would also be subject to rank as well as their priority.
Application Process

Admission to this program is based entirely on the candidate's performance in the NEET examination. The college offers 50 seats for the BAMS course. Eligibility criteria include successful completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as mandatory subjects, along with qualifying the NEET examination.
