NRI Vidyadayini Institute of Science Management and Technology (NVISMT), is one of the leading educational institutions in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. NVISMT is affiliated with the Bar Council of India (BCI) and the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), providing quality education in diverse disciplines.

The admission policy at NVISMT is to be merit and inclusive in nature. Admissions for the majority of courses take place as per the state government rules and regulations and university conventions. The percentages obtained in eligibility tests and/or entrance tests are taken into account by the institute for admission into different programs.

Application Process

The application procedure for NVISMT courses is usually as follows:

1. Go to the official NVISMT website to view the online application portal.

2. Select the desired program and enter the application form with correct personal and academic information.

3. Upload necessary documents, which could be:

• Passport photograph
• 10th and 12th mark sheets
• Undergraduate degree certificate and mark sheets (for postgraduate applicants)
• Entrance exam score cards (if applicable)
• Category certificates (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) if seeking admission under reserved categories

4. Pay the fee as per the application fee fixed for the desired program.

5. Upload the filled application form online.

6. For courses that demand entrance tests or other tests, attend the tests as per the time table declared by the institute.

7. Selected candidates might be invited for interviews or counseling as per the demands of the programs.

8. Final selection will be done on the basis of the overall performance in the qualifying examination, entrance test, and interview (if any).

9. Shortlisted candidates will have to complete the admission procedure, such as verification of documents and payment of fees, within the stipulated time.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.A., B.Com, and B.Sc Programs:
NVISMT has different undergraduate courses in Arts, Commerce, and Science streams. The institute takes admission in the programs on the basis of performance of the candidate in 10+2 qualifying examination. The institute has approved intake of 120 seats in B.A. and B.Com programs, whereas B.Sc programs such as Biotechnology, Botany and Chemistry have 60 seats.

B.Com Specialized Programs:
The institute provides specialized B.Com courses like B.Com Computer Applications (90 seats), B.Com Principal and Practice Insurance (60 seats), B.Com Tax Procedure and Practice (60 seats), B.Com Hons (60 seats), and B.Com Advertising (60 seats). Admission to these courses is merit-based in the qualifying examination.

BBA and BCA:
Both BBA and BCA courses have an approved intake of 90 seats each. Admission is given on the basis of the candidate's performance in their 10+2 examination and any other criteria as may be determined by the institute.

BA LLB (Hons) and LLB
The BA LLB (Hons) course contains 120 seats, whereas the LLB course contains 60 seats. These law courses can be admitted considering scores in entrance examinations for law, apart from the results in the qualifying exam.

B.Ed Program
For the B.Ed course, with 50 seats, admissions are done on merit as per marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The process of selection is according to the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.

Postgraduate Programs
NVISMT has different postgraduate courses like MSW (40 seats), M.Sc Chemistry (40 seats), M.Com Accounting (30 seats), M.Sc Botany (25 seats), and LLM (18 seats). Admission in these courses usually depends on the performance of the candidate in his/her undergraduate degree and respective entrance examinations.
