OCP Bhopal Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

OCP Bhopal foresees that the Oriental School of Pharmacy is highly reputed in pharmaceutical education, one of the detailed admission procedures for various undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy programs. The institute OCP Bhopal is duly recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and has a systemized admission procedure of the merits on which candidates are selected. The admission procedure, however, generally begins with the release of entrance examinations for various programs. Admissions to undergraduate course stages like B.Pharma and D.Pharma are sought through a Common Counselling process organized by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Madhya Pradesh. For M.Pharma programs, the scores of GPAT, a national-level entrance examination for pharmacy graduates, have been accepted. GPAT is also the basis on which admission is granted to various specializations under M.Pharma at OCP Bhopal such as Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Quality Assurance, and Pharmacology. Thus, the eligibility criteria are different for each program. Candidates must have completed 10+2 with relevant subjects for admissions in undergraduate programs; and in the case of postgraduate programs, students must have either a B.Pharma degree or an equivalent qualification. Application Process

The application processes for Oriental College of Pharmacy, Bhopal, depend on the program:

For B.Pharma and D.Pharma program :

1. Register for Common Counselling- DTE, Madhya Pradesh.
2. Fill online application on DTE portal.
3. Upload required documents like academic certificates and entrance exam scores.
4. Pay the application fee as specified by DTE.
5. Take part in the counselling process as per the schedule announced by DTE.
6. In case of allotted seat, join OCP Bhopal for document verification and admission formalities

For M.Pharma courses:

Qualifying GPAT exam.

1. For the application procedure, one must check OCP Bhopal website or contact the admissions office.
2. Fill the M.Pharma application form with personal and educational particulars.
3. Document upload includes GPAT scorecard, B.Pharma degree certificate, and any other required certificates.
4. Application fees as determined by the college to be paid.
5. Comply with any further selection processes such as interviews as required by the college.
6. Upon selection, complete admission formalities in OCP Bhopal.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Pharma: The mode of admission to B.Pharma for OCP Bhopal is through the Common Counselling in DTE, Madhya Pradesh. 100 seats are reserved in this four-year undergraduate program. The candidates will have to go for the process of counselling based on the entrance test that they needed to take.

D.Pharma: Similar to B.Pharma students, all D.Pharma admissions come under the Common Counselling of DTE, Madhya Pradesh. OCP Bhopal has 60 seats in this diploma program. Those eligible would need to apply through the central admission process.

M.Pharma: OCP Bhopal offers M.Pharma in various specializations: Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Quality Assurance, Pharmacology. The admissions for these postgraduate programs are done based on GPAT scores. The total intake for all M.Pharma specializations is 33. Candidates having a valid GPAT score can apply for these programs which are of 2 years duration.
