For Maharashtra State Candidate. - Candidate should have passed 1. higher secondary certificate (H.S.C.) std XII examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics. and secured a minimum of 50% marks (45% for backward class candidates from Maharashtra State only) in Physics, Chemistry, and the subject of maximum marks amongst the 2 subjects mentioned above added together.
