Parbhani Medical College, Parbhani Admission Process

Parbhani Medical College, is one of the latest medical institutions in Maharashtra, India, offering education in the MBBS program. This institution has a standardized admission process based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Parbhani Medical College is an affiliated college authorized by the National Medical Commission (NMC); thus, this institution adopts the policy on admission in line with universal ideals of medical education. The typical admission cycle of Parbhani Medical College almost coincides with that of NEET- the NEET schedule and the counseling process that follows. These dates, of course, may change every now and then. But a general picture entails a NEET exam in May, with results coming out between June and July, when state-level counseling on MBBS admissions usually occurs from July through to September.

Eligibility criteria for admission into the MBBS program at Parbhani Medical College include:

  1. NEET-qualifying exam with valid scores;
  2. Passing through 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as mandatory subjects;
  3. Reaching the minimum age of 17 as at December 31 of the admission year.
  4. Fulfillment by the applicant of any other criteria specified by the state medical education authorities.

The NEET is the only entrance test for MBBS admissions, which encompasses the topics covered in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology). Candidates should, therefore, prepare well enough in all these subjects; their most important study materials will be NCERT textbooks and previous years' question papers.

  • As a last process, upload all documents required by the state medical education

3. Document Verification:

  • Attend the document verification process on schedule made available public by the counseling authority
  • Carry along original documents; include NEET score card, 10th, and 12th mark sheets; domicile certificate (if applicable); and category certificates (if applicable).

4. Choice Filling and Allotment of Seats:

  • Allotment to seats is determined by NEET score, ranks, and availability

  • School leaving certificate
  • Domicile certificate (according to state requirements)
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Latest passport size photographs
  • Aadhaar card or any other valid ID proof

This whole process of making a successful selection would be primarily dependent on one's NEET score and the merit rank in the state list concerned. Since Parbhani Medical College currently stands as a new institution, its specific cut-offs will have to be determined based on the performance of applicants as a whole in NEET and the number of applications received.

Degree wise Admission Process

MBBS: The college can now offer the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program with an accepted strength of 150 seats. Admission to the MBBS program of the college would be purely and entirely based on the performance of a candidate in the NEET entrance examination.
