Pragati College was constructed in Raipur. A vast admission procedure is carried out based on the criteria laid down by the Higher Education Department of the Government of Chhattisgarh. Application Process

The application process at Pragati College, Raipur, varies according to the program:

1. For undergraduate programs (B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Sc Computer Science):

• Attach all enclosures in the form of 10+2 mark sheets, a transfer certificate, and other relevant certificates.

2. For the B.Ed program:

• Register for the Common Entrance Examination conducted by CG VYAPAM, Raipur.
• Appear for the entrance examination on the scheduled date.
• If qualified, participate in the centralized counseling process.

• If allotted a seat, complete the admission formalities at Pragati College.

3. For D.Ed program:

• Apply for the state-level Pre-D.Ed entrance examination.

4. For postgraduate programs (M.Com, M.Ed):

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Com: The B.Com program at Pragati College has 120 seats for admission and is based on the annual pattern of regular courses, likely considering the candidate's performance in the 10+2 examination.

B.Ed: The B.Ed program with 100 seats was conducted on the basis of merit through centralized counseling conducted by CG VYAPAM, Raipur. Candidates were required to take a Common Entrance Examination. Merit is determined on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination, which may include the 10+2 senior secondary examination as well as the entrance examination.

BCA: The admission procedure is as per the annual regular course pattern, similar to other undergraduate courses, for BCA, which has an Intake of 60 seats for admission.

B.Sc Computer Science: Also 60 seats are provided for admission to this program. Admission is probably based on performance in the 10+2 exam-science subjects.

M.Ed: M.Ed-A 50 seat course, based on the merit admission of this program is awarded to the candidates as per State Government/Central Government/University policy, on the basis of their performance in the qualifying examination (bachelor's degree) and/or an entrance examination. 

D.Ed: Since the admission of the D.Ed program is based on the state-level Pre-D.Ed entrance examination, performance in the qualifying examination and the entrance test is taken into account during the admission process.
