Prajwal College of Nursing is a prestigious college for nurses. It is situated at Byadarahalli along Magadi Main Road. The college offers several nursing courses and has already received accreditation from INC, New Delhi. Admission process by degrees

B.Sc Nursing

Four years of the undergraduate degree; it admits 40 students to be introduced to science nursing and be fully equipped to understand various parameters of healthcare provision.

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing

It is a two years of program. These programs are usually meant for already registered nurses aiming at further enhancement of qualifications; the program accommodates 40 students.

  • GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery): This is the three-year diploma course, which equips the trainee with practical nursing and midwifery. The highest number of intakes is in this course, amounting to 50 seats.
  • M.Sc Nursing: The College offers specializations in M.Sc Nursing, namely M.Sc Medical Surgical Nursing, M.Sc Child Health Nursing, M.Sc Mental Health Nursing, M.Sc Obstetric and Gynecological Nursing, for an intake of 4 in each.
  • M.Sc in Community Health Nursing

These masters programs are, in general two-year courses conducted for B. Sc nursing passed students to attain specializations within the domain of nursing.
