Pratik College of Education, Thepahan Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

Pratik College of Education, Thepahan, was co-educational institution approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE); Admission at Pratik College of Education aims at selecting deserving candidates for its B.Ed and D.El.Ed programs. The college follows the prescribed admission policy of the State Government of Bihar and their affiliated university. Admission is taken primarily on merit, based on marks scored in qualifying examinations and entrance examinations. 

For admission to the B.Ed and D.El.Ed programs, a minimum eligibility criterion is to successfully complete a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university. Application Process

Application process for Pratik College of Education, Thepahan, is as follows:

1. Announcement of Admissions: The college announces the commencement of the admission process in different media and its official website.

2. Application Form: The application form must be filled and submitted by candidates. It may either be available online on the college website or directly in person at the college admission office.

3. Document Submission: Candidates must submit documents along with the completed application form, as follows:

• Marks sheets of qualifying examinations (10th, 12th, and graduation as applicable)
• Valid entrance exam score card (if applicable)
• Character certificate from the last attended institution
• Transfer certificate
• Migration certificate (if applicable)
• Caste certificate- for reserved category candidates
• Recent passport-size photographs

4. Application Fee: Candidates have to submit the application fee as prescribed. The mode of payment and the amount of the fee should be confirmed from the college.

5. Entrance Test/ Merit List: Depending on the course and present admission policy, depending on their qualifying examination marks, candidates would be required to appear in the entrance test or be selected through a merit list.

6. Document Verification: Short-listed candidates are called for document verification. The originals will be subjected to verification.

7. Counselling: Qualified candidates may have to face a counselling session regarding seat allotment.

8. Fee Payment: Candidates will have to pay admission fees once selected to confirm their seat.

9. Enrollment: Candidates are enrolled at Pratik College of Education in their chosen program upon completing all the above processes.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed: The B.Ed program at PCE has 200 approved seats. Admission into the B.Ed program is to be on merit taking into account marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The selection process is expedited by the policies of the state government of Bihar and the university. Candidates must have completed a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university to be eligible for the B.Ed program.

D.El.Ed: The D.El.Ed program is also having an approved intake of 200 seats. Just as in the B.Ed program, defence entry into D.El.Ed is made in accordance with merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination, with rules following those of the State Government or Union Territory administration. Eligibility to D.El.Ed is usually a pass in 10 +2 or equivalent from any recognized board.
