Princeton PG College is a co-educational college located in Hyderabad, which offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses with particular focus on courses in pharmacy and management. The institution is recognized by AICTE and PCI, and it has been offering quality education for more than 30 years. Its location on the central business hub of Ramanthapur makes Princeton PG College an excellent learning atmosphere with well-equipped facilities and infrastructure.
The admission process at Princeton PG College is very student-centered and open to even most motivated candidates. For undergraduate programs such as B.Pharma, students are assessed based on their performance in the 10+2 or equivalent examination but mainly focus on Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics. The process is however well structured by entrance examinations for most of the postgraduate programs, especially the MBA.
The admissions into the MBA program of Princeton PG College also accept the scores from the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET). TSICET is a state-level test that checks aptitude for management studies in candidates for admission at the college for MBA students. The admission is in part dependent on the results of TSICET.
Application Process
The application process is different from program to program at Princeton PG College.
For B.Pharma:
1. Visit the official college website, or the admission office, to obtain the application form.
2. Fill in the application form with accurate personal and academic details.
3. Attach all necessary documents including 10+2 mark sheets, transfer certificate and other required certificates.
4. Submit the application form, along with the prescribed application fee, to the college admission office or as per mode specified by the college.
5. Wait for college to announce the selection list after processing.
6. If selected, complete the admission formalities, including document verification and fee payment.
For MBA:
1. Register and appear for the TSICET examination
2. Based on the results of the TSICET, qualified candidates have the chance to apply to Princeton PG College later on.
3. Obtain the MBA application form from the college website or admission office, then fill in.
4. Attached to the completed form would be: the TSICET score card, and other required documents.
5. The interested candidates will be called for the counseling sessions, if any.
6. If selected, the admission process will be done by paying the required fee and submitting original documents for verification.
For M.Pharma:
1. Specific application procedures for M.Pharma programs can be obtained by either checking the college website or contacting the admission office.
2. Acquire the application form and fill it out for the desired specialization (Pharmaceutical Analysis or Pharmaceutical Chemistry).
3. Submit the completed application form, along with the B.Pharma degree certificate, mark sheets and any other required documents.
4. Take part in the entrance test or interview unless otherwise specified by the college.
5. If selected, formalities for admission are carried out per direction of the college.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.Pharma: The undergraduate B.Pharma programme in Princeton PG College spans four years and caters for a yearly intake of 60 students. This program creates a solid foundation in pharmaceutical sciences. Admission to the B.Pharma program takes into account the performance of the applicant in the 10+2 or equivalent exam, especially the marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics subjects.
MBA: The largest of all courses offered at Princeton PG College is the MBA program, which accommodates 180 students. This two-year postgraduate program is considered to provide an exceptional management education. The admission process for MBA includes:
1. Appearing for the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET)
2. Qualifying with a competitive score in TSICET
3. Participating in the subsequent counseling process
4. Document verification and admission confirmation at the college
M.Pharma: In addition, Princeton PG College offers M.Pharma in two specializations: Pharmaceutical Analysis and Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Each of the specializations requires a limited intake of 5 seats, making the admission highly selective. A B.Pharma degree is the usual prerequisite and later the candidate is expected to satisfy any of the requirements for relevant entrance examination or interview.
