Modern College of Pharmacy Nigdi Pune Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

Modern College of Pharmacy (MCP), Pune, of the Progressive Education Society, is one such institute which established its roots in the concept of imparting excellent education in pharmacy. Affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University and accredited by NAAC, it has a rigorous admission process based on merit for a number of diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs in pharmacy. Application Process

For B.Pharma and Pharm.D programs:

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Pharma: Admission into the 4-year B.Pharma course in MCP is based on scoring well in MHT CET. The program offers 100 seats in total, and eligibility criteria include completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.

M.Pharm: MCP offers M.Pharma programs in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, and Quality Assurance Technique in which each has only 15 seats to be enrolled. Admission will be based on candidates having a non-zero MHCET score conducted by DTE Maharashtra. Eligible candidacy entails completion of B.Pharma.

For Pharm.D: The college offers a Pharm.D program having only 30 seats. There is no specific admission news available; like B.Pharma, even the confirmation of entry can be assumed on the strength of MHT CET scores.

Ph.D.: The MCP awards doctorates in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Pharmacology. However, it is not expressly stated that the usual admission process of entrance test/interviews by its affiliating university will apply to all these programs.
