About PSGR Krishnammal College for Women, Coimbatore
PSGR Krishnammal College for Women (PSGRKCW) was established in 1963. The institute became autonomous since 2004 and the UGC confirmed with 'College of Excellence' status to the college in 2016. PSGRKCW is in the 6th position among colleges in India as per the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2021.
The institute offers 32 undergraduates, 13 postgraduate and 13 M.Phil/Ph.D programmes in arts, science, commerce, business administration, and computer science. The science departments of the college have been recognised with Star status of DBT, Ministry of Science and Technology. PSGRKCW is a partner institute under Study-in-India programme of Ministry of HRD, Government of India and foreign students are invited to apply for admission to the programmes offered by PSGRKCW.
