Raiganj Government Medical College and Hospital, Raiganj Admission Process

The Raiganj Government Medical College and Hospital, is a government medical college and hospital situated in the state of West Bengal, India. The college imparts quality medical education and is affiliated with the West Bengal University of Health Sciences. The admission process at Raiganj Government Medical College and Hospital is mainly through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), which is a national-level entrance examination for medical colleges across India. Every year, the college admits 100 students into its MBBS program, making it competitive for aspiring medical students. The admission process is usually in sync with the national NEET exam held annually.

4. Filling of Choice: After document verification, they should participate in the filling of the choice and select Raiganj Government Medical College and Hospital as one of the options.

5. Seat Allotment: The NEET rank, choice filled, and availability of seats should allot seats. Should one be allotted to a seat at Raiganj Government Medical College and Hospital, they should proceed further.

Eligibility criteria for admission to MBBS are:

  1. Qualifying NEET with valid score
  2. Completion of 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects
  3. Minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for general category candidates (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates)
  4. Minimum age of 17 years as on December 31st of the admission year
