The college has good facilities for studies. The campus has smart classrooms, well-equipped labs, and two libraries for quiet study. The hostels aren't that spacious but are clean and well-maintained, with single, double, and triple-sharing rooms. The mess food isn't that good. A medical center with a doctor and nurse is available on campus
RSET has good teachers. Many teachers are Ph.D. holders. Students say they are helpful and knowledgeable. The course is designed to match industry needs, and the college is well-rated, so it helps students get ready for jobs. Exams are challenging but manageable. You need at least 40% in the final exam and 50% overall to pass.
Engineering (ECE) department had 100% placements in recent years. While exact salary details for the EEE arena, overall placements saw salaries between 3.5 LPA and 15 LPA, with more than 150 companies hiring. Infosys, UST, and Cognizant are among the top recruiters. Graduates land jobs in both IT
The infrast is pretty standard and all classrooms are equipped with projectors. Labs contain plenty of machines is one of the biggest labs the college could have. Hostel has 3 sharing and 2 sharing rooms. 3 sharing rooms has common bathroom whereas 2 sharing has attached bathroom
Some of the teachers are well qualified and possess the gift of teaching, but others are mediocre or they care only about finishing the portions. Curriculum does not make you industry ready. As they follow KTU curriculum, its old and outdated. Semester exams are pretty tough and you would be able to pass if you have touched all the modules.
Top recruiting companies include MRF, goodrej, Royal Enfield, Bosch. For a mechanical engineer student in RSET unless you have a high CGPA, chances of getting a core job is dim. Even the top recruiting companies do not take any students from the batch sometimes, whereas there is scope in IT companies as they take a lot of students from mechanical.
The labs are fully equipped with all the necessary facilities and enough and more computers for all the students. The library also has alot of books, including college books and also magazines. The hostel is also spacious to accommodate all the students. Canteen food is also satisfactory. Medical facilites, sports are also very good.
The teachers are satisfactorily qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. The teachers clear all of our doubts, if we have any, either through online method or by keeping special classes offline. Yes, the curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are moderately tough.
Companies like open fintech, tata elixi, tcs, IBS other companies come for placement. The highest package offered in our course was 10 Lacs per annum. The average package offered was 3 Lacs per annum. Percentage of students who got into core companies are lesser.
Our college has a high-quality infrastructure, especially the labs. Students can learn in a good atmosphere. The library in our college is good. Our college has a good and neat football ground and a vast cricket ground.
As it is an autonomous engineering college, the course curriculum is relevant. Exams are a bit tough, and the results are published early. Internals and end-semester examinations should be conducted properly.
Placements provided in our college are good. Many core companies visit our college to provide job opportunities. Around 90% of computer science students get placements. Every department has minimum placement statics. ECE students can sit for the CS placement drive.
The hostel is great, and the mess is one of the best. The only problem I have as a student is with the hostel management, as they are super rude and more strict than the girls hostel that is nearby. Access to Wi-Fi is great, but not in all the rooms. If the time is past the curfew, not even a medical emergency can get you out.
All the teachers here are well qualified. The course curriculum and the outcome are well discussed at the beginning. Not industry-ready, but the syllabus is better compared to the KTU 2019 scheme as Rajagiri has its own curriculum as it is independent from KTU.
The placements for other courses than computer science are low. Top roles are offered for the CS students, and more of the students from the other streams get to choose IT-related placements. The companies for the placement are great, as the college is in the Infopark vicinity.
Facilities at the college and hostel are great. There are enough labs, quality classrooms, a library with a great collection, canteen facilities, and great campus infrastructure. The food at the hostel is poor quality. The wifi at the hostel is not so good, and most importantly, the caretakers are the worst!
Some teachers are good and have great knowledge of what they are teaching. The course curriculum is relevant. The difficulty of semester exams varies. Does the course curriculum make the students industry-ready? Not so sure about that. The teaching quality depends on the teachers.
Maybe INR 60000 package is the highest, and the lowest may be INR 15000. More than 90% students got internships. I'm not sure about the names of the top recruiters in our college, but there are many recruiters, I guess. The top roles offered by my course, I don't know much about that either.
Infrastructure of my college is well and good. Adequate classroom with projector facilities. Lab and workshop are also good. Washrooms are clean and well maintained. Canteens offer healthy and clean food.
Good and friendly faculty. They solve our doubts. Get us involved in academic and other curricular areas. Give application level knowledge on each topic. Provide good notes and pdf. Take revision tests and quizzes to test our level of understanding. Also discuss question papers which is very helpful.
Our college offer good placements since a long time. More companies has started to come as our college have got Tier 1 NBA accreditation. Reasonable placements in core branches. More than 70% placements last year
Yes. The money we pay is worth it.
Wonderful campus life. Both academically and culturally vibrant campus.
The infrastructure and facilities provided by the college for learning are really good. All the labs and other teaching facilities are well-maintained. However, the quality of the canteen and its food has declined this year, with food prices continuously increasing.
The faculty in the mechanical department are very good at teaching but can be very rude to students. Faculty in other departments are generally very good. The curriculum set by Rajagiri is well-structured and easy to learn, but the exam question papers during the end-of-semester exams are significantly more difficult compared to the university papers.
The placements start in semester 6. Based on available information, about 30 to 40% of students get placed every year from the mechanical department. The main companies that visit for mechanical engineering opportunities are Toyota and Royal Enfield.
Availability of civil labs like survey labs, material testing labs, geotechnical labs, fluid mechanics labs, etc. are there. The classroom has a projector for visual understanding. The library provides every book needed for engineering and other articles. Hostel facilities are of top class, providing good food and accommodation.
The teachers were highly educated and taught very well; they helped when students had difficulties in topics. The teaching quality was pretty good. The semester exams are a bit tough but can be easily studied if we want to study; the pass percentage was about 95 percent.
About 40 percent of students were placed every year. The lowest package offered was about 5 lacs per annum initially; the highest is 7 lacs per annum; and the average package a civil engineer earns was about 6 lacs per annum. Top recruiters are L&T, KMR, Ultratech, etc. About 90 percent of students got internship opportunities. Structural engineers are the top roles offered.
The infrastructure is very good. It is a beautiful college. Labs are very well-sorted. The college has enough systems and all the specific labs for other subjects are also very good. The atmosphere is also very pretty. The college is very green and clean.
Our course has six subjects. Our course is a bit not hectic because there are a lot more subjects, but there is no engineering graphics or chemistry in the first year, which is a different advantage. The course curriculum is relevant.
I think some percentage of students get placed here. The highest salary package offered ranges from 3.5-4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, TCS, and more local companies visit the college to hire students. I believe TCS does give an internship, and I am not aware of it. Since it is a business-related course, students tend to get placements related to the course.
Hello student,
1. Your selection totally depends on your requisites. Usually the factors are placements, fees, infrastructure and college reviews.
considering all these factors, previous year histories says the following scale comparison:
The better option in my opinion:
Based on the following factors, you can select what is better for you.
2. RSET,Kochi in kerela provides B.tech course in Computer science Engineering and Electronics and communication engg.
Hello,
Hello,
In between FISAT and RSEt I will always prefer the FISAT first. Doing engineering is always matters a good curriculum in College . Institute should have good placement and career oriented facilities. FISAT provides all these goodies at it's best. It has students curriculum facilities and also good placement.
No doubtly you can go for FISAT.
In case RSET , it is a moderate College but good college though it is not good like FISAT. Placement is also average here but it has good faculties and study oriented programs .
Hope for the best.
Thank you .
Hello,
if you share with 3 Students then the fees will be reduced by 10-15k INR for eg if your hostel fees is 70k INR the in sharing with 3 students it'll be around 60-55k INR.
Hope this helps,
all the best !
