Rajdhani Law College, Jaipur Admission Process

Rajdhani Law College, Jaipur, is one of the prestigious institutions with a motto to impart quality legal education. It is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and has further affirmative law programs in both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The available admissions procedure at Rajdhani Law College is a straightforward assessment for allowing into the greatest profession of law only for deserving candidates. On the basis of educational merit, the admission procedure is strictly followed as guided by the respective authority of Rajdhani Law College. For undergraduate admission, marks obtained in the qualifying examination prescribed (10+2 or equivalent) will be counted. 

Most of the time, these procedures are put into practice along with the academic calendar, based on the announcement of admissions in the previous month of the new session.  The college is known to have an inclusive approach into which relaxed admission criteria were offered to SC, ST, OBC, and PH categories. For SC, ST, OBC, and PH categories, a minimum of 45% aggregate marks is required in the qualifying examination, lower than the requirement for general categories.

Application Process

Rajdhani Law College, Jaipur, has admission procedures based on quite a number of steps:

1. Admission Announcement: The commencement of the admission process in the college is advertised through the college website and other media sources.

2. Application Form: The candidates were supposed to receive and duly fill the official application form. The application form may be downloaded online from the college website or directly from the college campus.

3. Submission of Documents: The completed application form should be accompanied by mark sheets of qualified examinations, including 

  • 10th, 12th, and graduation for applicants of LLM. 
  • Pass certificates of qualifying examinations
  • Character certificate from the last institution attended
  • Migration certificate (if applicable)
  • Caste certificate (for SC/ST/OBC candidates)
  • Disability certificate (for PH candidates)
  • Recent passport-size photographs

4. Application Fee: The applicants shall pay the prescribed application fee. The mode of payment and amount of fee shall be mentioned in the admission notification.

5. Forming a Merit List: A merit list shall be prepared on the basis of performance of the candidates in qualifying examinations, along with any other criteria prescribed for the respective programs.

6. Counseling and Allotment of Seat: Counseling sessions may be held for selected candidates, with seat allotments based on merit and availability.

7. Payment of Fees and Confirmation of Admission: The selected candidates will have to pay course fees and do any other required formalities of admission as prescribed within the relevant period for confirming their seat.

8. Document Verification: Document verification will be undertaken by the college before finalizing any admission.

Degree wise Admission Process

LLB (Bachelor of Laws): Rajdhani Law College offers a three-year full-time course in the LLB degree, where for enrolled students as admitted by the council, there has been an intake of up to 300 students. Admission into the LLB program will depend on performance in the qualifying examinations-most notably being 10+2 or their equivalent therein. In addition, the students must have successfully completed their higher secondary education from a recognized board to qualify for admission.

LLM (Master of Laws): The college runs a two-year LLM course for postgraduate law students. For admission to the LLM course, the performance of candidates generally considers those in the undergraduate law degree (LLB or equivalent). The specialization provided by the college includes Criminal Law and Corporate and Commercial Law at the LLM level.

LLM Criminal Law: This specialized LLM program is targeted at conducting higher studies in the area of criminal law. Eligibility includes possession of an LLB. Admission relies heavily on a candidate's academic performance in his or her undergraduate law program.

LLM Corporate and Commercial Law: This specialization will be for students who wish to pursue studies relating to corporate and commercial law. Eligible candidates for this specialization will be those who have obtained their LLB degree. The selection process will be based on academic merit, which may include additional criteria established by the college.
