Rajeev Institute of Ayurvedic Medical Science and Research Centre (RIAMSRC) which is based at Hassan is amongst the top Ayurvedic colleges in Karnataka. The institute is an affiliate to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) Bangalore and furthermore, it is sanctioned by the Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM). Continuing amongst the courses, the RIAMSRC runs only a single course Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) with a total student intake of 60 seats annually.
The admission for RIAMSRC is done purely on the basis of scores in the NEET examination which is a standardized national-level examination held every year in India for admission to various medical courses including BAMS course. To be admitted to RIAMSRC, students have to qualify in NEET.

Degree wise Admission Process
BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery): The only full-time program offered by RIAMSRC is BAMS or Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery, which comprises an exhaustive study in Ayurvedic medicine. Only NEET scores are considered for admission into this program. RIAMSRC has a 5.5-year BAMS course (including the compulsory one year of internship), with an option of only 60 students per intake.
