This is a huge college with almost every facilities available, not very far from the railway station so it is pretty easy to be there at time. it has a big playground too, every year they arrange great concerts everyone enjoys it .
Teachers are good and helpful. They encourage us to do many activities of our own not only studies, they are supportive. Our faculty professors are nice each of them teaches us the topics or subject in various creative ways.
My seniors got good jobs in many well known companies many working of there own. I'm currently in my 2nd year of graduation so not very sure about the placements. I want to work on my own or continue studying.
The fees is not that high it is affordable so it is value for money i guess.
My college had almost all the necessary equipments and lab facilities. The labs, classrooms and sports centres are clean and well-maintained regularly. The old campus, where I used to take classes lacked many equipments, but those are now available in the new campus just beside the old one!
I studied B.Sc and the quality of teaching is average. But, the curriculum is well updated. Yes, what I study makes me job-ready. The college also gives great subsidiary options along with the Honours and those are also taught very well.
Placements is average. There are not a fixed percentage of students who are placed. It varies from batch to batch. Yet, the college authority tries hard in this respect and the staffs are always very supportive in this matter.
During my time the cost was around a thousand rupees, but this year it costs around 3-4k. The cost is really less as it is a Government College. The money was worth it.
The campus is a bit clumpsy and old-looking. But, the good news is a new building has been constructed beside the main campus with modern facilities. The college location is not great but the area is near Naihati Station and is safe.
My experience in the college was quite good and I'd recommend this college as average place for higher studies.
