RVS Siddha Medical College was established during the year 2007 and is affiliated to a university offering medical education to its students in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Located on an eleven-acre facility, it offers education and healing through Siddha medicine system of medicine, which is originated from South India. The college is recognised by the Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM) to make certain that the college provides Siddha medical education of high standards. RVS Siddha Medical College caters a total of 115 students for each class and 29 faculties which provide a close experience for each student who wants act as a Siddha practitioner.

RVS Siddha Medical College has developed a number a facilities that would improve the student experience and learning achievement. The campus provides the hostels for both male and female students to ensure they get the best environment in their stay at the university. The boys hostel of six blocks is located near the college and the girls hostel is under security camera for 24/7 surveillance. Both hostels serve delicious and affordable food and provide fully automatic Domestic Mineral Water Plant makes water available for all residents. To facilitate various monetary transactions in day to day running of the college, there is an ATM of union Bank of India within the college campus. The college also retains library facilities which is well equipped, departmental laboratories, an auditorium to support the colleges academic and co-curricular activities. Recreational periods may be spent at the cafeteria where students get to take meals,snacks and beverages from. For the health development, there are sports amenities and a gym to help the institution’s clients for themselves. It should also be noted that general health centre with facilities of first aid is situated on the territory of the campus if necessary.

The RVS Siddha Medical College mainly aims at providing the course of Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery BSMS. This course is a full time course with a total duration of six years which imparts recognised training in Siddha medicine. The college has been approved to admit 29 students for this programme, thus offering a good niche market select.Make sure that every student who is joining this college has a passion for this traditional form of medicine. The curriculum of BSMS course aims at cultivating students with comprehensive study of Siddha system, Diagnostic techniques and therapeutic strategies, to face challenges throughout their career in Siddha system.

RVS Siddha Medical College has a proper admission process which having a regulation in admission process and it is purely based on merit. To accommodate the students who travel from the neighbouring area, the college runs more than twenty buses within a seventy-kilometre radius touching Tirupur, Palladam, Palakkad, Thudiyalur, and Saravanampatti and among others to enable the students avail quality Siddha medical education.

RVS Siddha Medical College therefore offers a special kind of focused curriculum and has made provision for most of the relevant facilities needed for the training of Siddha medical professionals. On one hand, its dedication towards the conservation and development of this classical form of medicine along with necessary modern educational facilities gives the student the chance to study the civilisation of Siddha healing arts.
