Sagar Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SIPS) is a prestigious institution for pharmaceutical education in Madhya Pradesh. It is recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) offers pharmaceutical courses in diploma, under-graduate, and post-graduate degrees. The SIPS's objectives include imparting quality education along with nurturing capable professionals for the pharmaceutical industry.

Undergraduate candidates looks very dim if they have not completed class 12- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. For almost all the postgraduate applicants, a degree in B.Pharmacy or equivalent from a registered university is or may be mandatory. 

Application Process

Application procedures for admission at Sagar Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Sagar for the following courses are conducted as follows:

1. For application, the official SIPS website is to be visited for online admission application of the selected program.

2. The duly-filled downloaded application form for the chosen program must be filled out with correct personal as well as academic credentials, keeping in mind that an application cannot be submitted if any section is not filled out.

3. Upload all relevant documents including:

• Passport size photograph
• Mark Sheets from 10th and 12th classes
• Bachelors Degree certificate with mark sheets for postgraduate applicants
• If applicable, entrance exam score card
• If applicable, category certificate

4. The application fee to be paid in the manner prescribed on the website. The amount is usually settled online using a credit card/debit card or through internet banking.

5. The completed application form, along with all documents, should be submitted before the deadline.

6. After submission, candidates must check their registered email addresses and the institute's website at regular intervals for any information regarding admissions, entrance exams, interview dates, and selection lists.

7. The shortlist may either need to enter the test for admission or be summoned for an interview, depending on the selection method followed for the program.

Degree-Wise Admission Process

B.Pharma: Admission into the Bachelor of Pharmacy Program in SIPS is for 100 students. Selection is evidently on the basis of merit earned at a relevant entrance exam and on 10+2 marks of the qualifying examination from the stream of Science, i.e., Physics, Chemistry, and either Mathematics or Biology. The program encompassed the entire field in pharmaceutical sciences and prepared students for various roles in the pharmaceutical industry.

M.Pharma: SIPS offers specialized M.Pharma programs in 5 streams, with the intake capacity being limited to 15 students in each stream:

1. M.Pharma in Quality Assurance
2. M.Pharma in Pharmacognosy
3. M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics
4. M.Pharma in Pharmacology
5. M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Chemistry

Typically, a B.Pharma would be required whereas, additional consideration of weightage would also be given to performance at the entrance examination, Bachelor's program, and potentially to an interview. 

D.Pharma: The maximum number of students to be admitted for the Diploma in Pharmacy program is 60. This program is intended for candidates who are looking for a short-duration pharmacy course with admission most likely based on the 10+2 results and a relevant entrance examination, if any.
