Being in the year 2017, Samarth Institute of Pharmacy, a relatively new institution, dedicated primarily to pharmaceutical education, is located at Belhe, Junnar Taluka of Pune District. Being a co-educational, the institution is affiliated with SPPU and approved by PCI and AICTE. The institute keeps a calm and silent backdrop that minimises stress among students. It has a total enrolment of 107 and a faculty strength of 27. The institute provides two specialised pharmacy programmes. The institute, situated on the Kalyan-Ahmednagar Highway, provides focused learning environments for aspirant pharmacists in the area.

There are adequate facilities at Samarth Institute of Pharmacy that can make an impact on the students' experience and support academic excellence at the institute. All labs are properly equipped to provide the necessary opportunities for learning by doing which the pharmacy education warrants. The college library houses all the resources needed for research and studies. For students who might require accommodation, the Samarth Institute has boys' as well as girls' hostel facilities to stay in comfort. It also accommodates a cafeteria, sports facilities, and a gym to keep everyone fit. The institute provides Wi-Fi connectivity and modern IT infrastructure. It houses an auditorium for seminars and events, along with a health centre with first aid facilities to make sure that students are well taken care of.

Samarth Institute of Pharmacy provides two pharmacy courses catering to different educational needs in the pharmaceutical field. The four-year programme takes on the form of a Bachelor of Pharmacy with an enrolment of 100 students and a two-year Diploma in Pharmacy with an enrolment of 60 students. The two are full-time campus-based programmes and provide proper knowledge and practical skills in pharmacy.

The Samarth Institute of Pharmacy is intended for admission in a comprehensive and merit-based manner only. The institute accepts students to the B.Pharma programme through the state-level entrance exam Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) into pharmacy admissions.
