SAMATA Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital, and Research Center, Kalaburagi, being a relatively new institution, is trying to provide quality education in Ayurvedic medicine. The admission process of the college strictly follows the national standards for Ayurvedic education. Admission into the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) program is offered through an entrance examination at the national level.

The primary entrance examination that is given credence for admission into SAMATA Ayurvedic Medical College is the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG). It is mandatory for every student aspiring to pursue the BAMS program in the college to appear and qualify in NEET-UG. Degree-wise Admission Process

BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery):

The BAMS Program is one of the few programs primarily offered by SAMATA Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital, and Research Centre, Kalaburagi. This is a full-time course of 5.5 years with a one-year compulsory internship. The college has an approved intake of 54 for the BAMS program.

Students are selected into the BAMS program, primarily based on their performance in the NEET-UG test. Only students who have completed the 10+2 level with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects are eligible for the entrance to BAMS. In case of an admission counseling process on the rank obtained at the NEET-UG level, candidates can choose the SAMATA Ayurvedic Medical College subject to their preference and availability of the seat.
