Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) programs, Sanjivani Ayurveda College and Research Center, Kopargaon, holds a high place of order in Ayurvedic education, with an elaborate admission process for students willing to join. Taking NEET UG, or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate, is the chief mechanism in place for admission into Sanjivani Ayurveda College. This test is considered to act as an entrance exam for aspiring medical students and is held at the national level across India.

Usually, the scheduled date for the NEET UG examination is the date during which the college accepts applications. Thus, at this time, the candidates appearing for the NEET UG examination aspiring to join Sanjivani Ayurveda College have to pass it, which is usually held in the first half of the year. The candidates who clear the NEET exit exam shall apply for admission to the Sanjivani Ayurveda College after the NEET result is declared.

2. NEET Result: The candidate can be eligible for admission only if the result is declared under the NEET criteria.

3. State Counselling: Sanjivani Ayurveda College is situated at Maharashtra; thus, the candidates may have to undergo the counselling conducted by the state authorities.

4. Document Verification: The shortlisted candidates will have to be present for document verification. The documents usually include:

  • NEET UG score card

  • Class 10 and 12 mark sheets

  • School leaving certificate

  • Domicile certificate (if applicable)

  • Category certificate (if applicable)

  • Recent passport-size photograph

5. Merit List: The merit list will be prepared on the basis of NEET scores and the document verification.

6. Seat Allotment: The candidates shall be allotted seats based on merit rank concerning the choice of college and availability of seats.

7. Fee Payment: After seat allotment, the candidates must pay the requisite fees to reserve their seats. The total fees required for the BAMS programme in Sanjivani Ayurveda College is Rs 7,42,500.

8. Reporting to the College: After completing all the above-mentioned processes, candidates will have to report at Sanjivani Ayurveda College on or before the mentioned date for final admission formalities.

Degree-wise Admission Process

For BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) – BAMS is the prime course which is offered to the students at Sanjivani Ayurveda College and Research Center. Admission into the course depends on the performances of the candidates in the NEET UG entrance examination. The approved intake of BAMS course at the College is 60 seats. The time duration of the completing the course along with the compulsory one year of internship will be 5.5 years. For BAMS course eligibility: Candidates must pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as their core subjects from 10+2.
