Degree Wise Admission Process
B.Sc Nursing: The college has 60 seats for the B.Sc Nursing programme. Admission is primarily done depending on the performance of the candidate in the RUHS BSc Nursing entrance examination. The eligible candidates should have accomplished 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects.
Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: Admissions to this course range from 30 seats. Admission, generally, is to the trainees who have completed the General Nursing and Midwifery course (GNM). This might be on the basis of the GNM scores of the candidate or an entrance test.
General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM): There are 40 seats available for this course in the college. Most of the time, the criteria for admission include completion of 10+2 with specific subjects and performance in a specific entrance examination.
M.Sc Nursing: The college provides M.Sc programs in four specializations - Medical Surgical Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, and Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing. Each of these specializations shall have an intake of 5 seats. Generally, a B.Sc Nursing degree is required for admission to such programs, which may also involve an entrance test and interview process.
