The college infrastructure is kind of ok not so good but It works. Ya it has almost all necessary facilities such as ground , sports complex gym library computer lab . It also has working wifi but it is sometime there sometimes not
I am studying bcom because i want to build my career in finance background . The quality of teaching is average and ya the classes are never held regularly . We have faced many problems in getting lectures regularly
Palcement is not so good in the college as reputation of the college is not so good , if by chance any companies come in the college the package offered is also low around 3to4 lpa . Highest was around 36lpa (mention on the website i don’t believe it tho) bcom hons. Placement process is easy as it is manned properly by the team
The infrastructure is okay of Satyawati college. In comparison to other colleges of Delhi University I think there is a need to change the infrastructure a little bit. But it has good library with appropriate books, the sports ground is very big all the tournaments are held there. Classrooms have good desks and they are neat. Canteen has decent food quality with clean drinking water. The computer labs have all the facilities. The auditorium has centralised Air Conditioner equipped there.
As per my experience I think academics is average and it should be improved a bit. Teachers are very good no doubt but the classes should be more interactive. Debates and presentations should be held more frequently so that students can interact well with each other and new way of learning can be developed. The colleges has well updated curriculum for each course. There are various arts and commerce programs in the college. The faculty is experienced and helpful.
The quality of placements you get through this college is good. But not all of the students get placed. The average package you get is 10-15 LPA. Few internships are also offered to students. Only 40% of the students get recruited. Top companies that hire students are Google, Microsoft, Mahindra etc. mostly Bcom hons and Economic hons students get hired quickly in comparison to other courses. College is supportive throughout the process and during your time in the college.
The value of money that you get is worth it. My course fees was ₹7000 and examination fees is to be paid separately in every semester. I feel it’s worth the money as you get proper education and training for future. The fees is also on a affordable side. It’s nominal. All the courses are almost affordable in this college.
Campus life is good, you get to experience a whole new experience. The college is located at a nice location so you can hangout and explore different places nearby. College fest, functions are organised which are really amazing. There are so many societies in this college so you can choose accordingly. You will feel safe and comfortable in this college without a doubt. Also there is women cell outside the college so proper safety is there.
It has a spacious auditorium that host multiple events and other co curriculum activities. The college has a full fledged sports department. Satyawati college has a well equipped and Modern seminar room. Other facilities such as bank, parking, canteen is also offered to students. The infrastructure is overall good.
There are various arts and commerce courses in the college. Teachers are good, helpful and highly professional. My course Bcom program curriculum was updated and relevant that helped me gain a lot of knowledge.
The placement offered to students are average here. Only 30-50% of the students got placed. The top recruiting companies are Google, Mahindra etc. The highest package offered here is 30 LPA. The average package offered is 10 LPA.
It’s definitely worth the money. My course fees for 1 year was around ₹6000. In this college all the concepts are cleared so that you can easily pass the examination. I think it is affordable fees for every student.
The campus connectivity is good and very safe. North campus is nearby so you can explore different food there. Fests and speakers are invited every month. The location is in good area with all the basic facilities.
The infrastructure is good and proper maintenance is there. There are 2 buildings. Auditorium has air conditioning facility, there is a 2 storey library with all latest books. There is a girls and a boys common room. There is good Wifi facility. The canteen is nice.
The teaching staff is very professional and intelligent. Most of them are PHD holders. They are always ready to guide you. The pattern of study is updated. The quality of experienced teachers here are amazing. Also it will make you job ready.
Placements provided here are ok. Companies such as Google, Amazon and Microsoft recruit students. Normal package is ₹5-₹10 lakhs. There is a need to develop a good placement cell and more internships should be offered to students.
My fees was around ₹8000 for a year which is very affordable for everyone. It’s very much worth the money. This college is very politically active as well and they will encourage you for doing more research and activities so that it develops your personality.
Campus life depends upon what kind of a person you are, if you join multiple societies and take active participation you can live a good college life. The atmosphere of the college is good. There is peace around the campus. North campus (Delhi University) is very close to Satyawati campus for hangout.
My experience at Satyawati college is a lifetime full of memories.
The college provide so many facilities such as sports, a big auditorium, cafeteria, wifi and parking services. Proper hygiene is maintained. Lift is also equipped. Proper projectors and equipments are there in laboratories. There is a seminar room which is very large to conduct different activities.
I was pursuing Bcom program from the college and my experience was extremely good. The faculty here is amazing, teachers are very supportive. The quality of education is great and you will learn a lot from here. The professor are highly skilled.
Placements here is average. The normal package is 5-10 lakhs. Highest package is for 15-20 lakhs. The placement cell “Saksham” is very active and they bring internship opportunities for students. Companies like Byju’s , Google, Microsoft hire students.
The fees is around 30K to 40K for Bcom, which is quite decent. One can easily afford education from Satyawati as the fees is very minimal. I feel that the money is worth it. You get proper education in detail and everything is explained very well.
The campus is located at quite convenient and nice area. It has greenery around. College fest at Satyawati is very popular in Delhi University. Medical facilities are also provided to the needy. There are more than 30 societies in this college.
A well maintained infrastructure is always a plus point for any educational institution.I took up my graduation from Satyawati College and it was good. Their was new building and an old building, also the Auditorium is one of the biggest auditorium in Delhi University. The facilities are decent just few drawbacks are there such as dirty washrooms, no proper drinking water is there, air conditioning is not appropriate in the auditorium. College has good library, laboratories and good seminar room
The teaching faculty is very good. Teachers are very friendly, the quality of staff is very nice. New education guidelines are followed, few scientific studies are yet to be developed. The quality of study will definitely make you job ready. You will get mocks test, extra classes, PPT presentations. There is no rude staff every one is very cooperative and very helpful.
The quality of placement is not appropriate. I did not get any proper placement services. There are many societies that are doing very well and helping students to increase their chances in different internships but I personally think the college should develop easy and pleasant placement for students. Also the Highest package is around 10 lakh-12 lakh only. This also needs improvement. So if you are looking for placement you won’t get the benefit.
The value for money is up to the mark. You only have to pay the nominal fees that is already been decided by the Delhi University for all colleges. I feel the learning to get is worth the money. You get all the services in such a minimal amount and also we had the laptop scheme where in we get laptop for a year. That is such a big relief for students who can’t afford it. So the value for money is worth your every penny.
This is a co-ed college. It have seminars, different social activities on day to day basis. The crowd is decent. The college has good freshers and farewell organizing teams that treat you very well. College has 2 storey library, a beautiful garden, a big playground, and girls and boys common room. The campus life is amazing in here. The college location is very close to imly restaurant. The nearest metro stations are Kanhiya nagar and Azadpur. This college is very safe for everyone.
I recommend this college. It has good atmosphere, nice teaching and non teaching staff, canteen food is also good. The college has a rich history dating back to the early 1970s. Satyawati College is a great choice for anyone looking to pursue higher education in Delhi.
Infrastructure is not good at all . And in summers ..there water coolers are not working. Hygiene problem is huge in my college . But after naac visit they just change the college. Library and auditorium is really a worthy place to visit
I currently studying eco hons . I choose this sub but now when i saw m teaching staff there are not good only some teachers are good and helpful . And yes i think that curriculum is updated I don't think that i learn something from my clg
I don't think there is a placement cell . There is only a society named saksham for placement...but it is hard to get admission in that society anyways I don't know much about the placement cell of my college
Yes
It's good sometimes
Great infratsructure with mindful things. All kind of facilities for disabled people. Wounderful auditorium with great speakers. Very big playground with clean and maintained grass. Classes are really clean and cateen is very hygenic
Helpful teachers with great teaching skills. They encourage the child to learn through innovatives ways. Taking students opinion and striding foward as we complete our subjects for the semester. They are the best trachers in the world l.
Nice placements opportunities with wounderful future. A student can see great possibilities for him after graduating from this college. A whole new world opens up with lots to explore and find. Giving placements in the top teir companies
Wounderful
When I first entered College, I didn't like the Infrastructure though because of the dirty walls but in 1 or 2 months the college got painted and it looked quiet good. Otherwise the college has all the facilities , the computer lab is huge and nice , canteen has also been improved . Library is very peaceful and pretty which makes you sit there and read. The college has a huge ground to play. Also the auditorium is the largest amongst all colleges in DELHI UNIVERSITY. Hygiene is maintained there.
I am studying Economics Honours there. The faculty of economics department is good. The teachers are cooperative. The quality of teaching , I would say is average because some students are able to apt easily and some are not what the teachers teach. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments or changes in the field. I think academics alone cannot makes us job ready. It is our skills that can make us that. So I don't think what I am studying makes me job ready.
The placements of the college is average. To be honest It is not that good. The companies that come to college offer job profiles mostly for sales. But as I am in 1rst year so I have not experienced it myself . So I can't say much.
My course costs around Rs.14000 per year. I think it is value for money because the amount is very less as compared to other universities, also when I am pursuing one of the best courses that is ECONOMICS HHONOURS.
Campus life is average but not that good as North campus. Students though can engage in many activities, it has many societies who work actively like the placement cell , Enactus , NSS etc.Its location is also good. The college is safe and it can handle emergencies.
College infrastructure is average, it's huge . The college is painted so it looks nice. The college also have a huge playground, basketball court and also a really good library. And the auditorium is massive.
I am pursuing Economic Honours, the teachers here are well qualified. All the teachers are really really helpful and specifically economics department teachers are really good and all the academic doubts are cleared.
Placement here are average. I actually don't know much about placement but what I heard about this placement is that the placement are average companies do come but not much students are placed but still it's good.
Yes , this college is value for money as this would provide you the experience of Delhi University and you would enjoy it's ambiance and would love to spend your three years of graduation here so it's value for money.
Campus Life is good here because of its huge infrastructure and we'll qualified teacher and also the society here are really active and good all the society here are very good and you will really enjoy.
The overall rating would like between average to good, as it is a Delhi University college so you would love being here and teaching faculty here is good and also the auditorium is also massive so it's good
