SBSPM's College of Pharmacy, Ambajogai Admission Process

SBSPM's College of Pharmacy, Ambajogai, is one of the premier institutes for pharmacy education in Maharashtra, India. The college has a good admission process for its pharmacy programs based on both merit and reservation policy. The college has the appropriate affiliation with the university and has the approval of the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), hence maintaining the standards of the education provided. The very first criteria for admission to the bachelor's programs are entering the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET). MHT CET exam for the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) group is to be held on 08th April 2025 in the online mode. This examination is very important for students to apply for the B.Pharma program.

The postgraduate admissions to the college are based on the GPAT scores. In case of unavailability of GPAT-qualified candidates, the college may consider MAH-MPH-CET scores for admission of non-GPAT candidates. The eligibility criteria for B.Pharma speak of the completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics. In the case of M.Pharma, the candidate should have a B.Pharma degree from a retaliated institution. Application Process

Application procedures of SBSPM's College of Pharmacy, Ambajogai, vary from program to program:

For B.Pharma:

  4. Submit necessary documents along with printed copies of MHT CET score card, 10+2 mark sheets, etc.
  5. Pay the application fee as prescribed by CAP authorities.
  6. Attend the counseling process according to the CAP schedule.
  7. Candidates, who have been allotted a seat at SBSPM's College of Pharmacy, should report to the college for document verification and confirmation of admission.

For M.Pharma Pharmaceutics:

  1. Take the GPAT exam and secure a valid score.
  2. If applicable, register for the state-level admission process (MAH-MPH-CET).
  3. Fill out the online application for M.Pharma admissions at SBSPM's College of Pharmacy.
  4. Upload all supporting documents such as GPAT score card, B.Pharma degree certificate, etc.
  5. Pay the application fee as indicated by the college.
  6. Partake in the counseling procedure, which may involve document verification and seat allocation.
  7. Upon selection, finalize admission procedures at the college, including payment of fees and submission of documents.

Commonly required documents are:

  • MHT CET/GPAT score card (as applicable)

  • Degree certificates (applicable for M.Pharma candidates)

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Pharma: The B.Pharma course at SBSPM's College of Pharmacy has an intake of 60 seats. Admission to the first year of B.Pharma is strictly on MHT CET scores and the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). The prospective students have to score good marks in MHT CET, to stand a chance to land a seat in this reputed institution. On the whole, the fee for the B.Pharma program is Rs. 274,954.

M.Pharma Pharmaceutics: The M.Pharma Pharmaceutics program has 12 seats offered by the College. The admission for this full-time postgraduate program is conducted mainly on the basis of the GPAT All India Rank. In some cases, where there are not enough GPAT qualified students, admissions may be given to non-GPAT students based on their MAH-MPH-CET score. The entire fee for the M.Pharma program is Rs. 213,250.
