Hello Sheetal Sarju Patel,

Dear Aspirant,

The 'College of Engineering, Pune' doesn't admit students based on their performance in Jee mains or advanced. The criteria for admission in CoEP is strictly restricted by the results of MHT-CET. Although with a percentile that good, one can apply and get admit in a retupated National Institute of Technology

But you can get admission in PICT Pune on the basis of JEE Mains 2019

Eligibility criteria :-

You must have 50% pcm aggregate for admission in any colleges of Maharashtra....

You must appear in MHT-CET or JEE MAINS.

if you are looking for CSE by DTE counselling then you must have a good score in JEE mains or MHT-CET i.e 150+ marks in both of the exams.....

Hello Pranav,

You scored a good rank but it is difficult to get admission in the government college of Pune. You can try for admission in the Pune Institute of Computer Technology and Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune. There are chances that you will get admission in one of the above-stated colleges.

Good Luck!

Hope it helps you.

For any further queries please feel free to comment.

Thank you.

Hii Nishant. 90.88 %ile means 90.88% of students who appeared for this exam have scored less than or equal to you. That means 9.12% are ahead of you. And this year approximately 3.93 lakh students have appeared for the exam. So, your rank can be calculated as 9.12% of 393000 i.e. ~35841. Even with OBC, there is no chance of getting CS at VJTI, PICT, Walchand Sangli. But, yes you can try for ramdeobaba etc.

Hi pratham ,
Neither of your score are good to get admission into pict with computer science branch .
With your jee mains marks you are not going to get any seat into any branch in pict . But theres chanches to get admission into electronic and telecommunication engineering branch in pict through your mhtcet rank .
But as you had mentioned you dont have domicile in maharastra its difficult for you to get admission into it. Try to make a duplicate domicile of maharastra it can be made within 5 days .

Hope it helps!!!

Hello Arun, 95.11 Percentile means your marks should be 98-107. After checking the last years cutoff of PICT Pune I found out that the college accepts students scoring around 170 in jee mains. so I suppose you might not get a seat in PICT Pune.

96.9 percentile in CT means you are mostly score between 122 to 125 marks and with this score you can get admission in pict pune in extc branch. Although the percentile system is implemented for the first time and the exact marks that you can get is not clear yet and hence the prediction is a little bit difficult to do. You should wait for the provisional merit list to come and then prediction can be a little bit easier

Hii..

Hope it will help!!

Hello,

According to general merit cutoffs of 2018, the closing rank for Computer engineering at COEP Pune was 119 and the cutoff marks was 179 in MHT CET. Also, take care of the fact that cutoffs can vary from year to year depending upon factors like number if seats available, number of students appearing for the examination, difficulty level of the paper etc.

I hope it helps. For any further queries regarding this, ask me in the comments.

Its quite difficult to get pict for cs branch with this percentile.Cs branch is quite demanding in this country so the seats are generally taken by the students with better percentiles. Yet according to the trends you may get a chance in the second or later rounds of admission in this college.

College Infrastructure

The experience at PICT was good. It is a good college. The campus is smaller compared to other colleges but that doesn't mean that there aren't necessary equipment. Classrooms and Libraries are very good and well maintained. Sports culture is not very profound in PICT but people who want to do something are always encouraged. Hostels are good. Separate for boys and girls and the food is also okay.
