SDM College of Education, Terdal Admission Process

SDM College of Education, Terdal, has a highly valued teacher training institution within Karnataka. It aims at quality education meeting the eligibility standards established nationally and accredited by the National Council on Teacher Education (NCTE).

The admission process just pertains to selecting competent candidates for the teacher education program offered at SDM. Admission of these candidates shall be in accordance with the admission policies of the State Government, that of the administration of the UT and that of the affiliated university. Usually, such selection procedures are based on scores in qualifying examination(s) and entrance test

The basic eligibility criteria for admission into SDM College of Education is to qualify in the qualifying examination while candidates are supposed to have their academic standard set from among those approved by the college and regulated by the respective bodies for teacher education programs

Application Process

The application process generally involves such steps in SDM college of Education, Terdal, which has:

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed: It is a two years full-time B.Ed program in SDM College of Education, Terdal which has an approved intake of 100 students. The aim of this course is to develop knowledgeable and skillful teachers through practical exposure experiences. Admission to B.Ed. Program is provided based on merit, assessed through marks achieved in the qualifying examination and/or through an entrance examination. Other selection components may also come into play depending on the policies of the State Government, UT Administration and affiliated university.
