Shaheed Hasan Khan Mewati Government Medical College, Nalhar (SHKM Nalhar) is one of the most prestigious medical institutions situated in Mewat, Haryana. The college is state-run and is recognized by the National Medical Commission. SHKM Nalhar has a complete range of programs for both undergraduate and postgraduate education. The admission process of SHKM Nalhar is competitive and on the basis of merit. The undergraduate admissions are done through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) score. At the postgraduate level, admission is granted on the basis of NEET-PG. Entrance examination at the national level provides a fair and just procedure for selection among all candidates.
The academic year at SHKM Nalhar begins typically in August-September and earlier a few months to it is the admission time. Degree wise Admission Process
MBBS: The program is the flagship course of SHKM Nalhar, and admission is based upon the NEET-UG ranks. The college has 120 seats for this program. Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and qualified in NEET-UG to be eligible.
MD/MS Programs: SHKM Nalhar provides a range of postgraduate programs, including MD Pathology, MD Community Medicine, MD Forensic Medicine, MD Microbiology, MD Biochemistry, MD Physiology, MD Pharmacology, and MS Anatomy. Admission to these programs is based on NEET-PG scores. For most MD/MS courses, 3 seats each are available, while MD Pathology has 6 seats.
MD Community Health Administration: This is also one of the postgraduate programs available at SHKM Nalhar. Admission is on the basis of NEET-PG scores following the same process as that for other MD/MS programs.
The college has been performing well since its establishment in 2013. Majority of the top 10 rankers in the university are from this college. My senior Arshia tyagi from 15 batch got 1st rank in the university

you have to appear for the exam , wait for the results, check your marks in the cutoff range and then apply for this college in the counselling process when the results are released.

No esic quota is available in Shaheed Hasan khan mewat8 government medical college, Nathan.
Esic is a special quota for wards of ip insured people with a salary of less than 21k per month.
You have to have a valid ip card before applying for the esic quota which is valid in esic colleges throughout india.
50% seats are reserved in these colleges for ip students and the rest are filled by state and all india quota.
This esic quota is only avaliable in esic medical colleges located across india like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, coimbatore, faridabad etc

Some students got doubt that how many marks to get seat in government colleges qualifying percentile is 50 for the general category and 40 percentile for SC/ST category .Seats are divided into two quota 1.ALL INDIA QUOTA 2.STATE Quota.
In AIQ 15 % seats reserved while in state quota 85% seats reserved .For general category you need to score 520 + marks under state quota to get admission into government colleges.As per AIQ you need to score 620+ marks to get admission into government colleges
Note: Cut off changes year to year because of merits students and number of students attending for the Exam etc.,
