Shanti Niketan College of Education (SNCE), Hisar as a co-educational institution aimed at the development of future teachers. The state university-affiliated college is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and runs various courses in the field of education. The admission of SNCE is therefore done with the aim of selecting deserving candidates on a merit basis according to the policies of the Government of the State, U.T. Administration, and the affiliated university. The admission cycle in SNCE goes round in the academic calendar of its affiliated university. Application Process

Shanti Niketan College of Education, Hisar follows a series of steps when applying for admission:

1. Announcing Admissions: The first step in the process requires media announcements to alert the public to the commencement of the admission process, which is also posted on the official college website.

2. Application Form: Candidates are either given the application form through the website or must collect it from the college admission office.

3. Document Submission: Accompanying the application form, candidates are required to submit the following documents:

• Marksheets of qualifying examinations
• Entrance exam scorecard (if applicable)
• Character certificate
• Transfer certificate
• Migration certificate (if applicable)
• Caste certificate (for reserved category candidates
• Any other documents specified by the college

4. Application Fee: The candidates must pay the admission fee prescribed for the program. They may double-check the admission criteria and payment methods with the college.

5. Entrance Exam: Depending upon the course and the current admission policy, an entrance exam may be held, in which the candidate has to appear.

Admission Process Degree wise

B.Ed: The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course at SNCE takes an intake of 200 seats, with admission on merit with consideration of marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or an entrance examination. This selection process is in consonance with the policies declared by the State Government, U.T. Administration, and the affiliated University.

M.Ed.: The Master of Education (M.Ed.) in SNCE has an intake of 50 seats. The M.Ed. admission process is similar to that of B.Ed., with eligible candidates being graded based on marks in the qualifying and/or entrance examinations. The selection procedure is compliant with the state government and university guidelines.

D.Ed.: The Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) at SNCE also has 50 seats approved for intake. Admission to the course is same as B.Ed. and M.Ed., based on the merit of candidates considering the marks in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination results.
