Shastry Institute of Pharmacy admission to the B.Pharma programme is through two channels: 80% of seats are filled through the DTE CAP Rounds, and the remaining 20% are filled at the institute level based on merit. The candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics to be eligible for this 4-year programme.
The no. of seats under D.Pharma programme are 60. The same process like the case with B.Pharma, the intake into the institute under D.Pharma are handled at the 80 % institute level whereas at the remaining 20% by the institutes directly in CAP Rounds merit-based 2-year diploma for the candidate having completed his /her 10 +2 level examination from recognised Board and the requisite science group subjects.
