Shree Santkrupa College of Pharmacy, Karad Admission Process

The Shree Santkrupa College of Pharmacy, Karad, is reputed among the leading institutes for pharmacy education. The college advances a well-coordinated admission procedure whereby it collects qualified candidates for its various courses. The eligibility criterion for admission to various programs is customized, while the entry into the undergraduate programs-such as B. Pharma-is only on the basis of the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET). Date of MHT CET for Physics, Chemistry, Biology is usually in April, and the upcoming one will take place on April 8, 2025. Evaluation is through the Graduate Pharmacy Entrance Test (GPAT) for admissions into the postgraduate courses, particularly those for M Pharma. This is a national-level entrance examination for pursuers of an M.Pharma degree in such discipline as Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance.

Application Process:

The application processes differ from the various programs at Shree Santkrupa College of Pharmacy.

For B. Pharma:

  1. Clearing the MHT CET exam
  2. Registraition with the centralized admission process of state authorities.
  3. Filling the application form with personal and educational details
  4. Submitting necessary documents such as MHT CET score card, 12th standard mark sheets, and any other relevant certificates.
  5. Paying the fees as specified by the college/admission authority as Application Fees.
  6. Wait for the merit list that will be published based on these scores, other criteria.
  7. On selection, admissions are secured through payment of requisite fees and original document submission.

For M.Pharma Programs (pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical quality assurance):

  1. Clearing of the GPAT examination.
  2. Apply directly to the college or through the centralized admission process wherever applicable.
  3. Filling in M.Pharma application form with necessary information.
  4. Submission of relevant documents including GPAT score card, graduation mark sheets and other relevant certificates.
  5. Application fee to be paid as per the specification of the college.
  6. This may include any further selection rounds conducted by the college.
  7. Enrolment into the program will happen by filling his course fee and submission of original documents to the college.

Degree wise Admission Process

B. Pharma: The B. Pharma course in Shree Santkrupa College of Pharmacy is totally based on MHT CET marks; with sanctioned intake of 60 seats. Only those who qualify in the MHT CET examination are eligible for admission. The total fees for the B.Pharma program is Rs 3,35,000.

M.Pharma: The college offers two branches of specialization which are M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics and M.Pharma in Quality Assurance. Admission into both these programs is on the basis of the GPAT entrance examination. An amount of Rs159,500 charges for each of the programs. Even though there are no specific numbers for seats, there are still opportunities available to carry this postgraduate Specialization.

D.Pharma: It has also offered a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) course possessing 60 approved seats. No particular details regarding admission, however, would be available about the admission in this program, but admissions may probably be based on qualifying results in the 12th standard or performance in the state-level entrance examination.

Documents usually required:

  • Entrance exam score card (MHT CET for B.Pharma, GPAT for M.Pharma)
  • 10th and 12th standard mark sheets
  • Graduation mark sheets with a degree certificate (for M.Pharma applicants)
  • Domicile certificate (where applicable)
  • Certificate of Caste (for Reserved Candidates)
  • Passport size photographs
  • Any other documents specified by college or admission authority.

Candidates are advised to keep all documentation organized early to facilitate a smooth transition into application. It is also worth keeping track of important deadlines to avoid unforeseen last minute problems.
