Currently a 4th year student pursuing electronics and Instrumentation engineering. The teachers of our branch are highly knowledgeable and supportive. Yes, I think my curriculum is updated including all development that are available now.
The worst thing about the college is that there are no placements for students in core branches like mechanical engineering , civil engineering. It would really be helpful if there was something of that sort.
Our college infrastructure is good but our department building is awesome. There is wifi, smartboards, temple, lord saraswati idol, water filters, wifi and living spaces are clean but not the washrooms.
I am enrolled in computer science branch because i want to pursue my career in software. The teaching quality is awesome and the teachers are supportive enough to clear all the doubts. We also got an internship.
There are approximately hundred companies coming to our college and our branch can sit in almost all of them. The college is very supportive except for registrations for placements. The percentage we will see this year.
The college infrastructure is very good. We have wifi, smartboard, different sports grounds for different games, a common library, gym, a mess, stationary shops, canteen, different department buildings.
I am stydying electrical engineering. The quality of teaching is excellent. the branch includes all the recent deevelopments and the teachers are very knowledgable in their subjects. It does not make us job ready though.
The placements are very good but the companies come only for tech not core. The companies also give their eligibility criteria as software branch many times. The college is supportive but the registration process is tough.
The college has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities . The livings places and classrooms in the college are clean and maintained regularly. There is hostel facility for both girls and boys, canteen and a big library.
A four year undergraduate pursuing computer science and engineering. The Faculty is good enough to teach the subject related matter but not every faculty is student focused.Yes, I think my curriculum is updated including all the developments required.
In our college 75% students get good jobs and they are placed in top companies. The highest package offered is 38lpa from cse branch. Here we have a best crt training which guides us to prepare for our company interviews.
Infrastructure is good, but our classrooms need to be renovated. The benches and tables condition are not in good condition. Washrooms are not clean and are not at all hygienic.Cafetaria is clean and food is hygienic, but a bit costly.
A fourth year student pursuing information and technology engineering. The quality of teaching is average, senior faculty members are good but the associate professors do not teach well. The curriculum gets updated as per the need.
The quality of placements has been amazing at my college. The placement process is little hectic but college is supportive. Some of my seniors have been placed in MNC companies with decent package through off campus drives .
The college has a decent infrastructure and provides all necessary facilities. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. We have sports facilities and gardens. All the places and every corner of the campus is kept neat and clean.
The quality of teaching here is good ,all the teachers are supportive to the students. Our curriculum is updated and flexible ,if we study regularly the course definitely makes us job ready by 4 years.
Placement is not that good. College claims to give 95%+ placements to the students every year but it's not true. The tnp cell of our college isn't supportive at all they always has been rude to us.90% students here are placed in off campus.
College infrastructure is really good. Buildings are well maintained. College classrooms and laboratories are clean. Wifi is provided everywhere but with a low speed and limited access to apps, which at the end is of no use to us students.

Around 80-90% percent students are placed with an average package of 9-10lpa every year. The placements mainly depend on the skill level of the student. The tnp cell tries their best so that all students gets placed.
Yes, the infrastructure is excellent but our department building needs renovation. The wifi and smartboards are used well but the washrooms are smelly always. The food is hygenic. There are many sports centres which is for different games.
The teachers are not serious related to our studies. They take our clllasses when endsems are near and do not give us attendance. The curriculum is not updated and it does not make us job ready and not even gate ready.
The quality of placements is very good but only for higher branches. We get less company which want to hire for our branches. The college is not supportive and our registration process is very difficult for placements.
Based on your JEE Main 2025 rank of 3,41,581 in the OBC category under the home state quota, securing admission to (SGSITS), Indore, may be challenging.
Your rank of 3,41,581 is significantly higher than the closing ranks for most branches in the OBC category in previous years.
With a 79.7 percentile and GEN-EWS category, you can likely gain admission to lower-demand branches at SGSITS Indore, assuming you have a Madhya Pradesh domicile. Highly sought-after branches like Computer Science and IT may be difficult to secure with this percentile. Lower-demand branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Production Engineering may be more accessible due to the home state quota and EWS reservation.
Percentile to Rank:
A 79.7 percentile in JEE Main typically translates to a Common Rank List (CRL) rank between 160,000 and 250,000.
SGSITS Indore Cutoff Trends:
Based on previous years' data, the closing ranks for EWS candidates at SGSITS Indore vary depending on the branch.
EWS and Home State Quota:
EWS and home state quotas can significantly improve your chances of securing a seat, especially in branches with lower demand.
Branch Preferences:
You should prioritize branches with potentially lower cutoffs, such as Civil, Mechanical, or Production Engineering.
Competitive Branches:
Highly competitive branches like Computer Science and IT will likely require a higher percentile and/or rank.
Counselling and Seat Allotment:
The final seat allotment will depend on your rank, category, branch preference, and available seats.
With a JEE Main rank of 5,28,143 in the ST category (home state), it is unlikely that you will be able to secure admission in popular branches such as Computer Science, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering at SGSITS Indore. You may be considered for lower-demand branches, depending on their cutoff trends. However, it is advisable to check the official counseling details for accurate and updated information.
