Shri Jamuna Prasad Maurya Shikshan Prashikshan Sansthan, Varanasi, is a fairly new educational institution, with a focus on teacher education. D.El.Ed.: The Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) course also has an approved intake of 100 seats. The D.El.Ed. admission process. is the same as that of B.Ed., merit-based on marks secured in the qualifying test. The institute can also take entrance test scores or any other selection procedure as laid down by the State Government or UT Administration. This two-year course has the same objectives as the B.Ed. course, with the aim of preparing students for a teaching career, especially at the primary level.
