Shri Ram Institute of Pharmacy, Jabalpur (SRIP Jabalpur) initiated pharmacy education and continues to maintain a reputation worthy of its name. The institute is approved by the PCI, which conducts admissions for different pharmacy programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

B.Pharma likely considers merit on the basis of performance in the qualifying 10+2 examinations which may also include state-level or national-level pharmacy entrance tests.

The pharmacy department of SRIT is PCI [PHARMACY COUNCIL OF INDIA ] approved. The Pharmacy Department of Sriram Group Jabalpur has received research grants from DST and SERB to conduct research projects. There are forty-six Ph.D. Faculties from which 11 gold medallists and one silver medalist, Four faculties received the Young Scientists award, Five facilities received the Srajan Award and one faculty received the Pragathi Ratan Award Add 105 VC awards received by students of the pharmacy department. The department follows the curriculum of the 8-semester pattern issued by Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya Bhopal MP [RGPV] and exams are also conducted on the RGPV pattern. The degree is also issued by RGPV. Courses offered by the pharmacy department are; 1. Bachelor's of Pharmacy {4 years} 2. Bchelor's of Pharmacy [LET] {4 years} 3. Master's of Pharmacy {2 years} in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Chemistry 4. Diploma of Pharmacy { 2 years}

The B.Pharma course us a 4 year undergraduate program. The main eligibility is 50% aggregate in 12th from a recognized university or board. The main subjects should be Science steam with Physics, chemistry and biology.
Mostly direct admission are done for b. Pharma. But there are few colleges that take admission merit based and relevant entrance exams.
