Siddhartha Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SIPS), located in Narasaraopet, is one of the premier institutions giving pharmaceutical education in India. SIPS Narasaraopet admission process is very selective so that people with the best potential can be admitted into various programmes. The Pharmacy Council of India gives the recognition to SIPS which further ensures that the quality of education imparted matches that of the industry requirements.
SIPS Narasaraopet admission process essentially on merit determined by entrance examinations conducted on a state or national level. For all undergraduate programmes, SIPS Narasaraopet admission process takes place on the basis of having appeared for the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET). For postgraduate programmes, admissions are normally granted based on either the Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) or the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT).
For entrance into undergraduate programmes, it is necessary to have completed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology. For postgraduate courses, he/she should have a bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognised university.
The application process differs according to the programme pursued by a student in SIPS:
The admission process at SIPS Narasaraopet is essentially merit-based, determined by performance in entrance examinations conducted at the state or national level.
B.Pharma admission is based on the candidate's performance in AP EAMCET for 100 seats in the 4-year programme. The candidate must have passed their class 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology.
The M.Pharma programme runs in several specialisations: Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance; Pharmaceutics; Pharmacology; and Pharmaceutical Management and Regulatory Affairs. SIPS Narasaraopet admission process is mainly through the AP PGECET or GPAT, with 15 seats allocated for Pharmaceutical Analysis.
Pharm.D is a six-year doctoral degree offered at SIPS. Other details with respect to the SIPS Narasaraopet admission process may not be mentioned here but can be assumed to follow similar tracks considering the entrance examination based procedures mentioned for the other courses above.
