VYS B. Ed College, Tondavali, is one of the reputed colleges run by the Sindhudurg Education Society that serves the purpose of teacher education and offers admission to merit-based B.Ed programs. Degree wise Admission Process
B.Ed (Full-Time):
The two-year full-time B.Ed course at VYS B.Ed College has an approved intake of 50 students, whereby admission to this program is based on merit taking into account marks in qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The selection process is in accordance with the policies of the state government and the affiliated university. Applicants must have completed their graduation or post-graduation in a recognized university; otherwise, they are not eligible for this particular program.
B.Ed (Part-Time):
Part-time B.Ed is yet another programme that VYS B.Ed College offers. Flexibility is afforded this programme to working professionals and those unable to carry a full workload. Students can pursue their studies over a three-year period. Merit and the stipulations of the state government and university generally guide the admissions process for the part-time B.Ed, which has eligibility criteria that stipulate the completion of graduation or post-graduation from a recognized university.

Sindhudurg Education Society's VYS B Ed College, Tondavali is affiliated by mumbai university. it has 2 years b.ed course and it is approved by the National Council for Technical Education (NCTE). the eligibility criteria is candidate need to pass graduation or masters degree in sciences/social sciences/humanity with 50% marks, if the candidates are from engineering passed, then they need to have 55% marks in graduation.
