Sir M.V. Government Science College, Bhadravathi, is a prominent center for scientific education in Karnataka, India. Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Sc: Admission to the programs of B.Sc. is based on the percentage scored in 10+2 in science subjects. The college has a total intake of students of 2647, a significant number of which was from among B.Sc. programs.

BCA: The college conducts BCA programs. Probably the admission of the BCA program is based on the marks obtained in the 10+2 exams, giving priority to students studying Mathematics or Computer Science subjects at the Higher Secondary level.

M.Sc Industrial Chemistry: A postgraduate program in Industrial Chemistry is offered by the college. B.Sc. graduates, majoring in Chemistry, will be usually considered for admission. The process for selection could include the consideration of their B.Sc marks, entrance examination, and/or interviewing.

The College also provides a BA course. Admissions for BA are generally made on the basis of marks in the 10+2 examination, with specific subject requirements as per the specialization chosen.
