Sri Aurobindo College of Nursing, Karur, is a reputed name in nursing education. The admission process adopted by Sri Aurobindo College of Nursing, Karur, is, however, unbiased and truly inclusive so as to have a fair selection of really deserving students for each program. The candidates' academic performance in the qualifying examination is one of the main parameters for admission. Some programs may require candidates to appear for an entrance exam or an interview, which will also be part of the selection parameters.
Application Process

2. Download and fill out the application for your course of study (B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, or M.Sc Nursing).

5. Then, pay the application fee as mentioned by the college.
6. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to appear for their entrance examination and/or interviews as per the schedule given by the college.
7. The final selection list shall come out on the basis of the merit-cum-entry score of the candidates who appeared for the entrance, and interview, if any.
8. The selected candidates shall then go ahead and complete the admission formalities by paying the course fee and submitting the original documents for verification.
Degree Wise Admission Process
B.Sc Nursing: This is a 4-year undergraduate college program having a sanctioned strength of 50 seats. The admission is further made on the basis of merit in qualifying examinations (10+2 with relevant subjects). Candidates may also need to appear for an entrance exam/interview as part of the selection procedure.
Post B.Sc Nursing: This is a 2-year course of study meant for registered nurses with an approved admission of 40 seats for upgrade of their qualifications.
Admission criteria likely consider past nursing qualifications and might also consider work experience.
M.Sc in Nursing: For postgraduate courses, the College offers three specializations, each for 2 years:
- M.Sc in Psychiatric Nursing (4 seats)
- M.Sc in Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing (3 seats)
- M.Sc in Medical Surgical Nursing (3 seats)
Candidates eligible for M.Sc must have B.Sc in Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing. Selection criteria may take into account undergraduate academic performance, Entrance Exam scores, and/or interview scores.
