The difference between my college’s campus and the hostel is pretty huge. The campus is amazing. Big classrooms, good labs, and a well-stocked library. They’ve clearly put effort into making a great place to study, and even the sports area is well done

The faculty at my college are a mixed bag. Some professors really know their stuff and make classes engaging, but others just stick to slides and lectures that get pretty dry. Curriculum-wise, it covers the basics and some important topics, but it doesn’t always feel connected to real-world stuff we’ll need on the job. It could definitely use more practical elements and updated content.

More than 80% of students gets placed in our college. They offer 4 Lacs per annum to 22lakhs per annum. Many companies like TCS, Amazon, Google, Zogo are recurring. More than 80% got internship. A CEO, a manager, a co-worker like that

Coming to infrastructure, I would say that it's below average. They provide Wi-Fi within the circumstances, and it's not good either. The classrooms are good. Coming to labs, it's very well-equipped with updated systems, and the library is provided with more than 10,000 books of different genres.

The faculty was quite short. It led to difficulties in the semester and providing quality education. Not all of them are good. There are some staff who take good care of your time. The curriculum is very strict to the course perspective, and they take advantage of every program conducted through the respective departments.

Nearly most of the students were placed in my batch, and it's still going on. Up to date, the highest salary was offered by Content Sack, a figure of 13 LPA. There are further more companies offering a minimum of 4 LPA. The company named Zoho took an intern from our batch, and other companies like Hexaware and Multicore also provided internships.

A well-developed infrastructure is essential for creating a conducive learning and living environment in educational institutions. Hostels and college labs play a pivotal role in shaping the overall experience of students. In hostels, good infrastructure encompasses well-ventilated and spacious rooms equipped with necessary furniture such as beds, study tables, and wardrobes.

Faculty members are the backbone of any educational institution, guiding and inspiring students to reach their full potential. They bring expertise, dedication, and passion to the classroom, creating an engaging and supportive learning environment. Great faculty not only impart knowledge but also mentor students, instilling critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

In my department, totally 65% of students got placed. They have teached the skills which help to get placed. The lowest package is 3 Lacs per annum. The highest package is 9 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies like TCS, ACCENTURE, and CTS. My department 30% of students get internships.

The college offers excellent infrastructure with well-equipped labs, smrt classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi internet and a vast library. The hostels are well-maintained, with decent food options in the mess and multiple canteens. The campus has top-notch sports facilities, a gym, and a hospital with 24/7 medical care. With vibrant student life and strong academic support, it provides a well-rounded experience.

The college provide qualified faculty members who are generally helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good, with a mix of theoretical and practical learning. The college curriculum is updated regularly, covering industry-relevant topics, but hands-on exposure depends on the course. Semester exams are moderate difficult, with a fair evaluation process. The pass percentage is high, around 85-90%, ensuring most students progress smoothly.

In the college placement placed Around 75-80% of students get placed. The highest package is 12 LPA and the lowest package is 4 -5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, etc. The top roles offered include software manager, software developer intern, full-stack developer, and many more.

The infrastructure and facilities of SMVEC is good. It is perfectly equipped with classrooms, sports ground etc. The only disadvantage is that there are some blocks and rooms which are yet to be built completely.

I am pursuing B.tech AIDS 3rd ug. SMVEC has wide variety of courses to be selected. The quality of teaching is good with using projectors , seminars, group activities as a source of teaching and making the concepts clear.

The placements in SMVEC is good but when compared to previous years the percentage of getting placed in MNC’s are reduced drastically. Mostly CSE students get placed with an average Package of 4 Lpa. The percentage required for placement is above 70.

Yes it’s definitely worth for money as it is one of the good engineering college in pondicherry with all the facilities to students.
