Sri Sathya Sai Degree College, Penukonda, incomparable, has resorted to a fair and merit-based admission procedure for the undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Assigned in Anantapuramu, Andhra Pradesh, this is a college that conducts many courses in various academic streams. The admission policy is egalitarian by including the consideration of the academic performance of applicants in regard to their qualified examinations. 

Adoption of the conventional form of admission that is almost ubiquitous with all affiliated institutions, students selected on the basis of their merit cum performance with respect to the qualifying examinations. The merit list is equally valid for all the programs in the college. Application process

1. Announcement of Admissions: Announcements will be on the college's official website  concerning the admission for the ensuing academic year.

2. Application Form Acquisition: Once the admissions are announced, interested applicants obtain application forms, preferably both online on the college website and offline at the college admission office.

3. Application Form Filling: Take caution in filling all the requisite details in the application form. Be sure that all the information given holds true and corresponds with your academic records.

4. Document Submission: Filled application forms will have to be submitted together with documents that will be essentially required. Those will include:

• 10th and 12th grade mark sheets
• Transfer Certificate from the previous institute
• Conduct Certificate
• Caste Certificate (if any)
• Any other certificates as put forth by the college.

5. Application Form Submission: Submit your application form along with all the required documentation to the college admissions office within the due deadline. 

6. Prepare a merit list: Prepare the merit list by the college based on the academic performance of applicants in their qualifying examinations.

7. Publication of the merit list: The merit list will be announced on the college notice board and also on the official website (if applicable).

8. The selected candidates may be called for a counselling session in which they shall be allotted their seat based on merit and availability.

9. Payment of Fees: Selected candidates are to pay the relevant fees for confirmation of admission within the prescribed period.

Degree-wise admission process

B.Com Computer Applications: The program admits 120 students on the basis of the merit of the candidate's performance on the 10+2 examination on relevant subjects.

BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration): 60 seats available in this program. Candidates are selected based on their academic qualifications in the 10+2 examination, with preference given to those from commerce or related subjects.

B.Sc Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science: This program has a limit of 50 students. Admission is granted to candidates excelling in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science in their 10+2 examination.

B.Sc Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry: For this program, 50 seats have been offered. Selection is based on the merit of candidates studying Biology and Chemistry in their 10+2 examination.

M.Sc Statistics: Admission to this postgraduate program, with an intake of 50 students, is based mainly on the performance of candidates during their undergraduate studies preferably compressed in Statistics or a related field.

M.Com: Number of seats are unspecified; this postgraduate program grants admission on the basis of performance in B.Com or equivalent degree.
