St Wilfred's College of Law, Ajmer Admission Process

St. Wilfred's College of Law and is affiliated to Bar Council of India (BCI). The admission process undertaken by the college aims at identifying and admitting a serious and competent student who aspires to have a good career in law as well as being successful. Adjacent to Balaji Temple, on Jaipur Road, the college has been influencing young minds-the legal minds-over the last two decades. The admission policy of St. Wilfred's College of Law seeks to ensure that only the most deserving and capable students are admitted. Selection criteria would thus be merit of the qualifying examination taken by the candidate, but may also require passing through an entrance exam/interview by the institution to assess and evaluate the aptitude and suitability of candidates for legal education.

Application Process

  • Category certificates (if applicable)
  • Other relevant certificates stipulated by the college

5. Paying the application fee through the mode prescribed.

Degree wise Admission Process

St. Wilfred's College of Law, Ajmer offers two main courses in the law field:

LLB (Bachelor of Laws): It is a three-year full-time degree course run by the Faculty of Law. The LLB program has 240 seats, providing ample scope for would-be lawyers to choose from. Admission for LLB depends on the qualifying examination and may call for an extra entrance test/interview.

BA LLB (Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor Laws): This is a full-time five-year integrated course that marries arts and law education. It does not specify the intake; however, the purpose is to impart good knowledge in legal matters and liberal arts subjects as well. Admissions in this program may be subject to qualifying exam results as well as by a possible entrance test/interview.

Both programs lay equal emphasis on theory and practice, thus preparing students for future careers as lawyers. An innovative curriculum for legal studies at the college imparts in-depth knowledge of law, legal systems, and their applicability.
