Sundarban Minority B.Ed. College is located in North 24 Parganas, WB and has a rigorous admission system for aspiring teachers. This coed college is affiliated to the West Bengal University of Teachers Training, Education Planning and Administration, and is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).  The B.Ed. The aim of this two-year course is to prepare students for careers in teaching with the emphasis on specific subjects relating to pedagogy, educational psychology, and teaching methods. 

The students are admitted to the B.Ed. course based on merit in accordance with the candidates' marks in respective qualifying examination or entrance examination. Other selection methods may also be indicated under the relevant regulations of the state governments or the principal university.
