SVS Institute of Dental Sciences, Mahabubnagar, is one of the esteemed dental colleges in Telangana, India. The institute, which is certified by the Dental Council of India (DCI) and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), provides holistic dental education programs. For BDS:

5. Submit application fee as regulated by the institute.
6. Appear for counseling sessions if shortlisted, according to NEET rank.
7. Accept admission by paying the given fee if a seat is confirmed.

For MDS:

1. Appear in NEET MDS and attain a qualifying mark.
2. Register for All India Quota counseling or counseling at the state level as may be applicable.
3. Submit the MDS application form at SVS Institute of Dental Sciences.
4. Upload necessary documents, including the NEET MDS score card, BDS degree certificate, certificate of completion of internship, etc., as and when required.
5. Make payment of the application fee of the MDS course.
6. Report to the counseling as per the time table announced by counseling authorities.
7. If sitting, complete the admission formalities at SVS Institute of Dental Sciences.

Degree wise Admission Process

BDS: Bachelor of Dental Surgery program in SVS Institute of Dental Sciences admits 100 students. The applicants are admitted based on the score gained in the NEET exam and then counseling. BDS is a five-year full-time course with a one-year rotatory internship mandatorily included.

MDS: SVS Institute of Dental Sciences offers MDS courses in various specializations, viz:

  • Oral Microbiology and Oral Pathology (3 seats)

Admission in all MDS courses depends upon the candidate's NEET MDS performance, followed by counseling by central or state governments. It is a 3-year regular course designed for advanced specialty training in specific dental specialties.
