SVS Medical College, Mahboobnagar, offers undergraduate and postgraduate medical programs, following a merit-based admission process as per the National Medical Commission (NMC) standards. The admission process is primarily based on national-level entrance examinations.

  • Undergraduate Admission (MBBS): Admission to the MBBS program is based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG), which is conducted annually. Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects to be eligible.

  • Postgraduate Admission (MD/MS): Admission to the MD and MS programs is based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduates (NEET-PG). Candidates must have completed an MBBS degree and qualified in NEET-PG to be eligible for these programs.

Application Process

  1. For MBBS:

    • Register and appear for the NEET-UG examination.

    • Qualify the NEET-UG examination by obtaining the required cut-off marks.

    • Participate in the state-level counselling process conducted by the respective authority.

    • Choose SVS Medical College as per your merit rank during counselling.

    • If allotted a seat, report to the college for document verification and admission formalities.

  2. For MD/MS Programs:

    • Register and appear for the NEET-PG examination.

MD/MS (Doctor of Medicine / Master of Surgery)

  • Duration: 3 years

  • Total Intake: 98 seats across various specializations

  • Eligibility: Completion of MBBS degree

  • Admission: Based on NEET-PG scores and counselling

Specializations in MD/MS:

  • MD General Medicine: 18 seats

  • MS General Surgery: 15 seats

  • MD Anaesthesiology: 15 seats

  • MD Pathology: 13 seats

  • MS Orthopaedics: 10 seats

  • MD Obstetrics and Gynaecology: 8 seats

  • MD Paediatrics: 7 seats

  • MD Radiodiagnosis: 7 seats

Other specializations: Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Anatomy, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Psychiatry, ENT, and Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases (3-4 seats per specialization).
