SVIPS provides a 4-year B.Pharma with 60 intake. Admission is on the candidate's performance in 10+2 (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) and entrance test score. One specialisation is provided by the institute for B.Pharma.

There are 15 admissions each for all specialisations, that is, in total there are 45 seats for the M.Pharma programmes. Admission for the programmes mainly is on the basis of GPAT scores or ranks secured at TS PGECET. It may also consist of screening for the candidate based on their background in B.Pharma coupled with their performance during the entrance examination.
