Swathi College of Pharmacy, Venkatachalam Admission Process

Swathi College of Pharmacy, Venkatachalam, has an elaborate admission process for different pharmacy courses. The Swathi College of Pharmacy admission process aims to choose apt candidates for its wide array of pharmacy courses, like undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses.

For UG courses such as B.Pharma and D.Pharma, the minimum age is 16 years and there is no maximum age limit. The admissions at Swathi College of Pharmacy to the Pharm.D. course are done through the AP EAMCET (Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test). Admissions to postgraduate courses, including M.Pharma courses, are made through GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) marks for 70% of seats and the remaining 30% seats are filled on the basis of AP PGECET (Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test) ranks.

Swathi College of Pharmacy B.Pharma Admission Process

The Bachelor of Pharmacy course in Swathi College of Pharmacy has an approved strength of 100 students. The candidate should be at least 16 years of age as of the date of commencement of admission. Swathi College of Pharmacy Pharm.D Admission Process

  • Admission into the Doctor of Pharmacy course is mainly through AP EAMCET. Candidates have to undergo the web-based counseling process. The college cross-verifies the certificates of the shortlisted candidates, and those who are content with their data can go for the option exercise according to the schedule.
  • Pharm.D. Post Baccalaureate is provided to candidates who already possess their B.Pharma degree. Swathi College of Pharmacy admission could be based on consideration of the candidate's B.Pharma performance and/or applicable entrance exam scores.

Swathi College of Pharmacy M.Pharma Admission Process

M.Pharma (Pharmacy Practice and Pharmaceutics): 70% of the seats are filled with GPAT ranks, and 30% are filled with AP PGECET ranks. The state government organises PGECET once a year in May/June. The Swathi College of Pharmacy admissions are conducted by web counseling, wherein students can opt for their specialization and college according to their rank.
