So let us walk past each and every aspect one by one:
History - Fergusson College was established way back in 1885 and Bal Gangadhar Tilak was one of the founding members of the college. It has also contributed men to the freedom struggle and has a lot of history and prestige attached to it. On the other hand, Symbiosis was established in 1970s and recently completed its 50 years of operation. So a lot less prestige and definitely a lot less history than Fergusson!

Infrastructure - Fergusson Colleges, like many old colleges is built in an area of 65 acres. It has a lot of new and old buildings and departments. On the other hand, Symbiosis like every recent college is not so big. So guys and gals, looking out for some quality campus life, watch out! Yes, it has big canteens than Fergusson but lacks in restaurants nearby.

Sports- Fergusson has a lot of indoor and oudoor complexes whereas Symbiosis lacks on that heavily!
Alumni- 125 years of prestige and alumni base is what Fergusson offers, whereas Symbiosis being newer has its own cons.

Decision is yours.

Hello,

Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune is a private institute affiliated to Symbiosis International University, Pune. It was established in the year 2008 and is recognized by UGC and accredited NAAC 'A'.It offers various Engineering disciplines at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate level.
You may visit our page at https://dqxeclau.top/colleges/symbiosis-institute-of-technology-pune to know more details regarding this.

Greetings aspirant!

Congratulations on getting into both the colleges. By now you must know that these are both private universities.

I'll suggest you to go for symbiosis pune for it's better reputation. Getting into symbiosis is difficult and every year thousand of aspirants apply for it's entrance exam and only few get this opportunity. Amity on the other hand has not very good reputation, it is treated more of a commercial college that is anybody can get admission into it. That is why there will be crowd difference, symbiosis will have a more competitive crowd in comparison to Amity.

Rest it all depends on your comfort zone, if you can afford to go to Pune and settle there than you should definitely go for it.

Hope you find it helpful. Thankyou!

Hey Duggaraju

As far as KIIT is concerned the placements here is good. Almost every  student gets placed however they salary may not be as much as it will be in Symbiosis in Computer Science & Information Technology and descent for E&TC and mechanical.  SIT Pune holds an average package of 8 to 10 Lacs per annum.

In KIIT Various good companies like Deloite, Infosys, Amazon, etc come for the interviews. The campus provides 100 percent placement for cse course.

At the end of the day the choice is yours. Both are equally good but if you ask me- Symbiosis is better for the ones with talent and hardworking attitude whereas kiit is good even if you are not the best of the best.

Hello,

MIT Pune is better that PICT, Symbiosis, and Bharti Vidyapeeth for B.tech . There are several parameters for my above mentioned line.

Around 150 Companies visit this campus for placements. Academics is according to Industry standards and Faculty is also very experienced. There is strict discipline related to attendance and uniform. You need to maintain 75% attendance and there are two formal days where you need to wear the given Uniform. People are also very good.

In comparison to other three i would suggest MIT Pune seeing its academics, placement and crowd for B.tech Courses.

Thanks

Fergusson College is a legacy. It was established in 1980s and Bal Gangadhar tilak was among the founders of the institution. On the other hand, Symbiosis is relatively newer and not so eminent. So it may have better infrastructure. Yet Fergusson college is definitely better than it in all other terms.

To get CSE in Symbosis Institute of technology(SIT).You have to get a score of 120-125+.

But they provide limited seats of 60 for CSE

Hope this helps you

Hey

It will be impossible to tell you the cutoff for exams based on your class 12th score since this year all the boards have given higher than usual marks to the students hence a lot of factors have changed. However I will give you an idea about previous years. For pwd quota/da quota the minimum marks required last few years was 51%. You will also have to give SNAP. For further details visit https://bschool.careers360.com/exams/snap . Incase of more doubts feel free to reach us. All the best.

Yesss everything was upto mark ,our classrooms were well equipped with nice sports centers but our college did not provide hostel facilities to masters students but everything was well maintained and very hygenic

Good

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure isn't that great. we do have a small library but for sports, we have to go different campus which is 1 hr away. The campus is very clean and the canteen food is good enough, ni complain regarding the maintenance of hygiene.

The overall experience is amazing. The college life is good

Verified Review

College Infrastructure

Though the infrastructure is not that appreciable as it lacks sports and ample hostel facility, it certainly has good equipments and laboratories, library and its online facility is amazing. Moreover the campus is clean and hygienic.
