Thakur Yugraj Singh Pharmacy College, Fatehpur, is one of the prestigious institutions imparting quality pharmacy education. Its G.T. 1. Eligibility Check: Candidates must first ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria for the selection of their chosen program (B.Pharma or D.Pharma). This generally requires having completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.

2. Application Form: Candidates who consider themselves eligible may fill the application form available on the college official website or for one could be obtained from the college's admission cell.

3. Submission of Documents: Besides the application form, candidates are expected to submit other documents as support documents. These typically include:

  • 10th and 12th mark sheets
  • Character certificate
  • Transfer certificate
  • Migration certificate (if applicable)
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Recent passport-size photographs.

4. Entrance Examination: Candidates may be called to appear for a relevant entrance examination. The scores obtained in any state pharmacy entrance examination are messed to admit candidates into the college.

5. Merit List: Based on the entrance exam scores and academic performance, a merit list is drawn up by the college.

6. Counselling Session and Seat Allocation: Candidates declared eligible from the merit list are called for counselling, during which seats are allocated based on merit and preference.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Pharma: The Bachelor of Pharmacy course of Thakur Yugraj Singh Pharmacy College is a four-year undergraduate degree providing extensive knowledge regarding pharmaceutical sciences. The intake capacity of the program is 60 students. Admission to the B.Pharma program is granted based on the candidate's performance in the relevant entrance examination and in the academic record for 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics.

D.Pharma, on the other hand, is a two-year program offered by the college for students wishing to study a shorter course in pharmacy. The intake in this program is also for another 60 candidates. The D.Pharma admission process is generally determined by the 10+2 performance of the candidate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.

Both of the programs, inclusive of lectures, workshops, and practical labs, ensure that candidates are equally equipped with the different theoretical aspects and skills that the pharmacy profession demands.
