Life changing and great learning experience

    College Infrastructure

The campus infrastructure is quite decent. Classrooms are clean and spacious and most of them have either projectors or interactive displays which really helps during lectures. The library is one of my favorite spots... it’s peaceful with traditional interior. Labs have all the basic equipment and materials required based on the course, though sometimes there’s a slight delay if anything needs fixing. The Wi-Fi works fine in most of the department and there's an open wifi for the entire college as well. Overall, the environment is pleasant and supports learning well.

    Academics

Academics here are decent and fairly well managed. Most of the facilities are truly experienced and teachers explain concepts clearly and are approachable if you need help. The syllabus covers the necessary topics and assignments are given regularly. There’s a mix of theory and practicals, which helps in understanding better. Not every lecture is super engaging, but overall, the learning experience is good and consistent. Tbh obviously it’s not perfect, but it does the job well.

    Placements

Placements are okay. Some good companies visit, but students have to be proactive. The placement cell does conduct training sessions, but it’s mostly up to students to prepare and apply. Internships are easier to get than full-time offers.

    Value for Money

Considering the fees, it’s a fair deal. You get decent academics, access to labs and a few extracurriculars. If you make use of the resources and opportunities, it does feel worth the investment.

    Campus Life

Campus life is chill. There are student council clubs, annual fests, annual sports events and occasional events that break the routine with lots of co-curricular competitions. It’s not super lively all the time, but there’s a friendly vibe. You meet people from different courses and there’s always something low-key happening.

Educational growth, research opportunity, supportive faculty

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The Institute boasts a well-organised campus with several buildings to cater to Academic, research and administrative needs. The main building is UNESCO World Heritage Site. For Government aided courses they provide ample lecture equipped with modern teaching aids. The laboratories are equipped with instruments, tools necessary for scientific research. The Institute’s library has a vast collection of books on various subjects and ample study area. The overall hygiene is not maintained well.

    Academics

Currently pursuing Environmental Science in the Institute. The Institute’s curriculum provides a comprehensive understanding of the chosen discipline, covering theoretical knowledge but lacks in practicals.

    Placements

Currently, college doesn’t provide campus placement to the Environmental Science students. Faculty of the department take active part in the helping the students to find employment opportunities in their network.

    Value for Money

Presently, the annual fees is around 50K (Excluding Exam fees). In my opinion, the facilities provided to the students of Environmental Science Department are not worth the fees paid. Though there are financial aids and scholarships available.

    Campus Life

Campus has a well-equipped gymkhana, which is neglected and poorly maintained. There is canteen for students and staff but the hygiene conditions are overlooked with minimum options available. The students, teaching and non teaching staff are supportive except the administrative services. The campus is situated in the heart of Mumbai and provides numerous educational places to visit in the college vicinity.
